chapter 8~ New Kid

it's my birthday tomorrow so me and Jaz are shopping and I'm staying at her house tonight so we can get up early in the morning and get ready. We're currently in new look and Jaz is trying on loads of clothes and I'm just sat here like a potato looking around when a pair of skinny jeans catches my eye you won't fit into them! my subconscious tells me, but I don't listen to her and grab them and a cute bird tank top which will match my lucky charm- a necklace with a bird breaking out of a cage- I walk back to the changing rooms and try them on the skinny jeans fit perfectly and the top matches I smile at my reflection and step out to find Jaz waiting for me, when she sees me her eyes go wide and a smile appears in her face "wow. you look different" "ummm thanks.... I guess" I'm not sure if 'different' meant good or bad, she smiled " are you wearing that tomorrow? " " Dunno.  should I buy it?" "Yes!" I changed back into my usual clothes and headed to the counter and payed for the new outfit. we went to Starbucks and ordered our drinks, sitting in our usual seat in the far corner of the room while sipping on our drinks we both sat there silently. thoughts kept going through my head you should probably tell Jaz... she'll find out today either from you or your care worker it's like you're telling her the big secret "um Jaz" her head shot up "yeah?" "there's something I need to tell you..." I trailed off "what is it? " "my dad wants me to look after my sister, he left me some money and she's coming to mine today" she didn't look too bothered "since when does your dad talk to you?!" "he got my number from my care worker" she looked a bit passed off about him only talking to me when he needs something "alright so we both know he's a...." she trailed off "an annoying person" I finished off her sentence before she could say anything "how old is she? " "1 and a half" I answered simply "how long is she staying?" " a month"  "shouldn't be much of a problem" she smiled reassuringly but then asked another question " when am I gonna meet her?" "well you could come over tonight" "where is she staying tomorrow?" "don't know yet" "leave her with abby or Lisa" "alright" so problem solved Jaz knows and doesn't seem to mind,  she probably doesn't realise that I'll have to be with Natasha(sister) 24/7 and won't be able to spend as much time at her house and have sleepovers every night but it's only for a month. We walk around town for a bit and head home, we're both so tired we practicality collapse on my sofa's "NATASHA" Jaz reminded me I rubbed my eyes "I'm tired" "well just wait" I made myself some coffee and sat down turning the tv on ''one direction are finally back in the UK'' the tv suddenly become more interesting "the biggest boyband is finally back from the US and 3 of the bands members are now single!  what happened?" the interviewer asks " well I broke up with my girlfriend. Things weren't going great so we decided it's better if we become friends" Liam answered aww bless "and you?" she asked Harry and Niall " we're looking for the right girl" Harry answered smiling. Me and Jaz looked at each other for a second then started fangirling "Omg

I'm so excited " " me too!" I screamed when we heard a nock at the door we both went quiet I answered the door to see a lady with a little child in her arms, she handed me the cute girl and stepped in rude.. "hello I'm just here to drop your little sister off" I look at her and then at the little girl "um thanks? " the lady just smiled and handed me the child, and within seconds she was out the door. me and Jaz sat in silence not knowing what to do or say until  Jaz finally spoke up " she looks like you" she stated, "yeah she does" I whispered, Jaz smiled " what's her name?" "Natasha" "awww that's cute" the little girl had slightly curly blonde hair and huge  green eyes she really did look like me.
