14: The Battle

Continued:

When we met at the tree, the whole of BTG was freaking out. There was no way we were going to do this. Impossible. We really had mastered the dance but it was too risky. What if someone got hurt? We wouldn't be able to compete for the end of term dance contest.

"Maybe we should just cancel the deal." Hanna suggested.

"You don't know how bad I want to do that. But a deal is a deal. And I'd never live down losing to Jungkook." I said, signifying vomiting. Hanna nodded sadly.

"You all ready?" I heard his deep voice. I turned around, instantly turning to my battle face. So did the others.. I think.

"Of course." I said, checking my nails. I had to sorry.

"Let's do this girls." Anna said, eyeing them all. She'd be a pretty cool leader.

We decided to do this in one of the Bangtan's studio. YES, they have their OWN dance studio. That's only because they're an official band.

"Who's going first?" I said, acting as confident as I could pull off.

"We will. And I see right through you. I know how you really feel." Taehyung said, staring at me differently. He was still smiling. I suddenly felt even more confident. Like, really, I felt confident. 

Jungkook smirked. I felt like that was for me.. 

But I know we can beat them without trying.

Narrator's POV

The bands were facing each other, coincidentally in the same positions.

Kunika and Areum at the front. Jungkook and V at the front.

Sky, Hanna, Anna and Cake behind them forming a rectangle.

RM, Jin, Jimin and J-Hope doing the same. Yoongi was in the middle of the rectangle.

Then-

"Hey guys!" Kashi came in. Everyone snapped out of their competitive states and looked at her.

They were all mumbling hi's and hello's. 

"Can I sit and watch? Sorry for disturbing-" Kunika had pulled her up and put her where Yoongi was but in BTG.

"We aren't leaving you out, silly. You know the dance right?" she asked, worriedly but happily.

"Oh, yes! You taught me when I came to watch your practise! Dance battle? I'm so in! Thanks!"

"No worries. Girls work together. Let's crush em'!" Kunika said enthusiastically. 

Then, Jungkook said 'All ready?' and as they all nodded, he played 'N.O' using the studio speakers. This was the song everyone had been learning for the past two-three weeks.

As the song started, Namjoon was lip-syncing his parts as they started their dance. It wasn't the same as the original, it had changed quite a bit, they'd spiced things up for the girls. Kunika swore she saw Taehyung wink at her again as he performed a flip. She just shook her head as the girls got into their first positions.

"And 5-6-7-8!" they'd started. The boys were really left dumbfounded. They'd completely underestimated Big Time Girl's talent. They had worked harder than the guys expected. Kunika flipped about three times, Areum jumping over twice, Cake was really good. She'd done amazing electric moves, she was probably the best dancer. Sky, Areum and Kunika would be the main singers, they hadn't sung here but they would be if the band debuted.

The boys were so amazed watching, they forgot to move into their next positions for their comeback and were laughed at by the girls. *reality bends for this book*

They were in time for "We roll, we roll, we roll" and saved their dance at the last minute. 

When the 'joheun cha' part came up, the girls became the form of a car, Areum being the driver. It looked fantastic. Their hard work was being shown so clearly. 

"We've got it in the bag.." Areum was thinking. They really did.
