1: Typical

Yes. The typical beginning of a story. Girl starts highschool blah blah blah...

But there's something different. She isn't normal. Areum is special. She has a talent. To dance and sing. And she wants to take it further. She wants to be a K-Pop star. It's her only dream. 

And she won't stop until she gets there.

Areum POV:

I'm so excited for today! I'm starting K-Pop training! But at least I'm not going to a strict facility. I can proudly say I'm going to the official Korean Pop Training academy. I wonder what friends I'll make. And if I'll meet any other K-Pop stars! I can't wait! 

Narrator:

Areum was more than excited to go to KPT Academy. She got up as soon as she was awake to get ready. She worked so hard in her secondary school to get here. It was her one and only dream. She was very happy her parents were supporting her with this decision too.

Her favourite band, Big Bang, inspired her to sing and dance. They were why she started listening to K-Pop. Areum was glad her father was Korean and her mother British. She learnt both languages easily and she was able to speaking fluent Korean and English at the age of six.

The only thing that she got bullied for was her intelligence. She was smart. Too smart. Being called Teacher's Pet her whole life wasn't the most enjoyable thing. But now, it was all going to change. And fast.
