Battle Part Two

Daisy*

Time stood still. With every second that went by, it felt like someone was stabbing me in the heart.

I felt more than betrayed. After all this time I've known him, he kept that from me all along?, how could he?....he used me this whole time.

I couldn't help but feel ashamed, actually falling for him, he's the Joker after all, someone who kills people for fun, why should I be any different.

I felt someone grab me tightly. "Daisy, please trust me. I will tell you the REAL truth", I knew it was Ivy, I took a glance towards Joker, seeing him looking at the ground.

"I need you to do something Daisy", Ivy carries on. I was surprised. For the first time..she needed me.

"I need you to take your feelings, and feed it to the monster inside of you" so that's what I did.

All the hurt I've been hiding, the disappointment, the anger, screamed out of me, and I knew..there was no turning back now.

I instantly ran to Lena, dodging her first punch and kicking her in the stomach. I quickly turned around, seeing as the riot has begun. I noticed Ivy's plants were helping defend and protect us.

She grabbed a dagger out of her pocket, and she push it into my ribs. I let out a glass-smashing cry of pain. I back away from her.

"You should have listened to me Daisy, we could have still been a happy family. We still can be Daisy",She tried to act as nice as she could, but now..I can see the real her. I punched her in the face.

"You lost that chance when you tried to kill me", I hissed at her, blocking one of her kicks. I stood back again, seeing blood on my t shirt. I tried everything to block out the pain.

She started to laugh, Wrong answer". After she said that, I hear someone cry out in pain..Joker. I see Ivy running towards him. I looked back at Lena.

"You set me up didn't you. YOu distracted me so you could kill your main target", I said, I just couldn't believe it.

"You can't trust anyone Daisy", Before she could say anymore, I stabbed her hard, now she was the one surprised. Everyone stopped fighting as they watched her fall to the ground.

Lena looked at me disappointed. "How can you be on Joker's side. After everything I've tried to do for you!?", She screamed, spitting out blood.

"Who said I was on his side?", I spat out, going towards Ivy.

I watched as soldiers carried away Lena, who was unfortunately still alive.

Ivy looked up at me surprised. "You didn't follow them?", she was crying her eyes out."Disappointing you?, I would never dream of happening", I recited what she said to me when she left.

It was obvious Joker was losing too much blood.

He looked at me, giving me a shattered look. "My beautiful Daisy. Did I ever tell you I love Daisies?", He cracked out, making my heart yern more. I shouldn't be helping him. I couldn't help but cry with Ivy, wondering what's going to happen to Joker now.
