it's weird how there's certain moments in life that really stick in your memory. like those random scenes in your mind that are so vividly detailed, it's like you never left it. they don't really mean anything and they're not really relevant, but for some reason, they're in your head and they're stuck there permanently. like when I listened to Starships by Nicki Minaj for the first time. like when I tripped and scraped my knee on Halloween when I was 6. like when I named a bird in my backyard Tourmaline. just odd, unimportant memories. some are always there, some are triggered by a song or a saying. some are dreams being continued now, 10 years later than the original. it's just so interesting and unique how your brain and your memory really works.
