intermission: flower

like the sun to a flower, you are my light, giving me a reason to smile.

like water to a flower, you are my hydration, the happiness and refresher flowing through my veins.

like soil to a flower, you are my home, my comfort and where I go to feel something, anything.

like oxygen to a flower, you provide me energy, giving me strength to get through the day

like wind to a flower, you sway me into a better life, a better person; you blow me away.

but like all flowers do, eventually they will stop receiving the necessities of life. and like death to a flower, the emptiness of your absence will take away all of me.
