 It was dusk
Too early for stars
Too late for sunlight
But it was never too late for truth

'Paul is here with me now. I have no idea whether I need to be happy or disappointed. The moment where I was about to know the man that I had been yearning for to know about was faded because of his presence. The other side of my heart is still falling for him, but the other side has been stolen by the man in white collar, Alex. I'm completely clueless with the idea of love at first sight. I used to disagree with the idea of it because I thought they just misunderstood lust and liking with love, love is something to be built, not to be found like a strand of hair in the flour. But I'm experiencing it now and I can't deny this feeling,'

"Pouring complicated thoughts into words is a very interesting idea," said the voice of a man that didn't sound familiar to Lou as the owner of the voice took a seat next to her.

Lou didn't have the urge to look at him, she quickly closed her journal and stared at it. Her eyes were very heavy with tears as if she was just being punched by Dwayne Johnson until she couldn't bear it any longer. Tears started streaming down from her eyes, she could feel the heat inside of her. She was literally burned with the moment that just happened to her.

"I once had a journal like yours too when I was 15. I wrote every single thing that happened to me. None of my friends knew about it because if they did, they would make fun of me," he stopped and gave his dark grey handkerchief to Lou from his pocket. "Please, use this. I can't stand to see a girl crying."

Lou chuckled as she took the handkerchief and wiped her tears with it. She hadn't had the intention to see whom she had been talking to but she replied with her eyes staring at her journal instead,

"What made you stop writing?"

"My memories," he stopped as he put both of his hands on the table. "The older I get, the more memories I make. Either the bitter ones or the good ones, but most of it are the bitter ones because that's the reason why we put them into our journal. I don't want those bitter memories have bigger space than the good ones, that's why I stopped."

"What about the good memories? Why didn't you write about them too?" replied Lou curiously.

"I prefer to keep them in my head. Letting them spinning around my head whenever I think about it," he sighed as he turned his head to Lou. "And it feels so good."

Lou eventually turned her head to the left and he saw a man with curly brown hair staring at her. He genuinely smiled as Lou felt shivers down on her spine.

"Alex," Lou smiled as she held her tears again.

"And I hope your journal has bigger space of good memories than the bitter ones," he stood up and pushed the chair back under the table. "The library is about to close. We should go. I think I haven't introduced my name properly, I'm Alex. Alex William Laurent."

Alex shook her hand and they got out of the library since they were the last ones in there. They walked outside approaching the exit of Harvard. It was silent and the only thing they could hear was the sound of the leaves slowly falling down to the ground.

"Why are you taking summer school program here?" asked Alex as he glanced at Lou and kept walking.

"I've planned this before since I wasn't accepted in Harvard," Lou kept walking and tried not to look at Alex. "You don't know how lucky you are as a student here. You should know that."

Alex suddenly stopped walking as he watched Lou still walking away from him. "How did you know that?"

Lou was stiff as if there was somebody grabbed both of her feet. She slowly turned her back and took a deep breath.

"Well, I'm just guessing," Lou shrugged. "Because if you weren't from here, you wouldn't know where I was. But, wait. How did you know I was in the library?"

Alex smiled as he walked approaching Lou, "It's late, I should drive you home," Alex offered his right hand. "Shall we?"
