Lies are made between truth and fear
The truth is, I do have fear
A fear of being honest,
A fear of being rejected
Nonetheless truth would always find its way
Though it is as ugly as it looks
and as painful as it feels

Adrien phone buzzed showing the first line of a text message. It was from Paul.

'Leaving Milan tonight for Paris. Lou's request. Stay in Milan, take a watch on Alex.'

He screened the text and glared at Alex. Alex noticed and his forehead furrowed.

"What is it?"

"Maybe you want to see this message," Alex answered as he handed him the phone.

Alex read the text and handed the phone back to Adrien. He gazed at Adrien, giving a convincing look.

"And so are we,"

Lou and Paul arrived in the airport. The car pulled over in front of the terminal door. Lou's hands were intertwined, looking nervous. Her head was full of thoughts that she couldn't put into words. Too much burdens in one day. Before getting out of the car, Paul rested his hand on Lou's arm.

"Would you please give me a clue why you're behaving this way?" asked Paul calmly, still looking curious.

Lou gazed at Paul meaninglessly. She wanted to spill out all the things she had in mind but she smiled instead, a weak smile. She shook her head and said,

"I'm sorry, Paul." Lou opened the passenger door and got out of the car.

Lou kept saying sorry to Paul and it left major confusion on Paul. He rolled his eyes as he sighed heavily. He quickly got out of the car and approached Lou walking in the terminal door. Paul stopped and looked back as the driver called out his name.

"Mr. Durand!" yelled the old man driver. "You almost forgot your stuff. I left them on the trolley here," he pointed at the trolley.

Paul nodded and quickly turned his direction to Lou. She was there standing next to a pillar, leaning her head next to it. He rushed towards her and pulled out a sigh.

"Okay, I've been trying to be patient and I'm getting tired to hear you saying sorry without reasons. Tell me what it is,"

Lou walked closer to Paul. She stared at him, giving a sigh. She put his hands on his cheeks and slid down to his shoulders, squeezing it. Paul stared back at her eyes, feeling calm. He reached her arms and caressed them.

"I know you love me, Paul. I know you do," Lou's eyes were still on his. "But I don't want you to be obsessed and insecure of losing me."

Paul's forehead furrowed. He held her arms, feeling confused. "What do you mean? I care about you. How is it possible to not be insecure of losing you?"

Lou looked down and stared back at Paul, "I think I can't go further with you, Paul-"

"Are you breaking up with me?!" Paul interrupted, still holding her arms but stronger.

"Can you please let me finish?" Lou pleaded.

Paul nodded and Lou cleared her throat, "I think settling down is not right for us. Well, for me. I'm still feeling unsure of what we are going to be. I don't see my future with you. I just still can't see it. It's blurry and I still have-"

Paul interrupted again, losing control whenever something bothered him and her statement did, "You are still holding on to him".

Lou stopped, feeling the blood pressure warming up in her body. "Look, Paul. I don't want to hurt you and I don't want you to hurt anyone just for the sake of love. Because love is meant to be found, not to be threatened."
