When Pat woke up, Miho was still beside him. Her body felt incredibly soft and warm against his; nakayakap lang ito sa kanya at mahimbing na natutulog. Last night, nothing happened beyond the kiss. He wanted to sleep with her, but he preferred holding her in his arms the entire night; sobrang kumportable kasi sa pakiramdam niya. Ayaw rin naman niya kasing biglain ito. She allowed him to sleep beside her in his bed and he didn't want her to think that he planned to take advantage of her.
Pat wondered if she permitted him to be this close, only because he reminds her of her past lover. But what's important for him at that moment, was that her response was the sincerest kiss that he felt.
Afterwards, he woke her up.
He decided to do what the prince did in this famous fairytale; he kissed her lips to wake her up. It was effective, tinulak nga lang siya nitong palayo nang magising na.
Miho covered her mouth with the palm of her hand. Gulat na gulat itong nakatingin sa kanya. Her chinky eyes widened, para itong nakakakita ng multo.
"Good morning, Emily," he greeted.
"You don't need to be so conscious about that," He told her. She didn't react but her stomach did. Nagsipilyo muna si Miho at naghilamos, then they had breakfast together.
"May smiley face!" she said as she pointed at her pancakes.
She cheerfuly asked as she combed the tangles on her wet hair with her fingers.
"Are you really going home tonight?"
Parang nabilisan siya sa pag-alis nito. Pat expected her to go home on a weekend. Yuon pala ay mas maaga pa.
"Oo, andami kong lalabhan.
"Alright." He let out a sigh, disappointed by her answer. "I need to meet Irish later. Saglit lang 'yon. Then let's have dinner after."
"Irish?"
He put an arm around her. "A pretty girl in her early 20s, who's quite special to me."
"Ahh, okay. Tara na, baka ma-late na tayo." Miho removed his arm, took her bag and walked straight towards the door.
"Pat!" She frowned as she failed from trying to push him away from the door.
"Are you jealous?"
"Jealous mo mukha mo!" She stuck out her tongue and rolled her eyes. Pat laughed and placed both of his hands on her waist. He was about to kiss her when she stopped him by putting her finger on his lips.
