I groggily wipe the crust from my eyes, stretching my arms over my head as I reach towards the glow in the dark stars plastered on my ceiling. Uraraka had put them there during the slumber party, I didn't mind. In fact, I liked them. I didn't want to leave the comfort of my cushy bed and warm duvet in the rainy weather. I wanted to stay in the warm sheets all day, light some incense, burn some fall candles, and stare at the rain through my window. But as my 10-minute warning alarm screamed out, I realized that wasn't a possibility. I wouldn't have time to do makeup, but as the year progressed, I cared less and less about how my peers saw me. There was only one person who I really cared about, and he had not only seen my makeup-less, but also half-naked and sick. So what was the point? Exactly.

After another 5 minutes of checking everything I missed while I was asleep, I literally rolled out of bed in a blanket burrito and trudging to my closet, pulling out the uniform and sleepily tugging it on. All my tights were in the wash, so I pulled on a pair of black thigh-high socks instead. One, which had lost its elasticity, pooled around my knee but I didn't care. This weather always did this to me. Albeit it being my favorite time of the year, the rainy days killed all my motivation for anything that wasn't in my immediate interest.

I bundled myself up in a non-yuuei-approved sweatshirt and scarf, grabbing an apple and forgetting an umbrella altogether, pulling my hood over my head. I curse inwardly as I realize I missed the train, making a U-turn and walking the other way towards the academy. The rain pelted against my back, missing my shielded face. As whispers and my name being shouted mixed with the rain, i huffed in annoyance and put in my headphones, drowning it all out with (f/s).

I make my way to the entrance of the school, thankfully on time. The stares and shouts haven't let up the entire walk, but I got used to it quickly. By now, the rain had soaked through my hood, wetting my hair and successfully making me look like a wet dog.

As I walk under the cherry blossoms, trying to find some coverage from the rain but failing. Rolling my eyes, I accept my fate as suddenly, my prayers were answered. Either it stopped raining or someone had propped an umbrella over my head. It turned out being the latter, I found, as I glanced over my soggy hood.

Bakugou stood above me, not meeting my gaze. A small blush spread across his cheeks, which of course, made my own cheeks redden. We walked into the school in silence, me having to widen my stride as to keep up with him and keep my solace under the wide, black umbrella. The stares and whispers increased tenfold as we stalked indoors, however, even without headphones, Bakugou seemed to take it all in stride for once. Call me crazy, but he seemed to be growing calmer by the day. However, as his locker got stuck and loud profanities fell from his lip, I realized he was still the same old Katsuki.

I slipped off my sweatshirt, shoving it into my locker and cursing when I realized my uniform underneath was soaked. Katsuki noticed this, throwing an old sweatshirt he kept balled up in his locker towards me. It smelled a little bit like gym socks but I didn't mind, throwing it on and welcoming the warmth.

We walk up to our class together, mutually recognizing the amount of people calling our names. We mumbled silent snarky comebacks to all the praise, laughing softly. We were both fed up with it, seeing as it had been happening the past four days. I couldn't even go to work without customers asking for pictures and blah blah blah. It was like being famous, which wasn't preferable in my case.

I heard Kirishima first from down the hall, a loud "I got mad people shouting out my name on the way to school!". I was glad that some people enjoyed it. If it was anyone, it would be Kirishima. We continued down the hall, the room silencing as Bakugou harshly slammed the door open. I peeked out from under his arm, smiling softly.

"Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed your 15 minutes of fame." I greeted, slipping underneath Katsuki and walking to my seat. The conversation resumed as I walked to my seat, comfortable in my roomy borrowed sweatshirt. The excited chatter died quickly once again, however, as Aizawa Sensei entered the room with a simple 'morning'.

I was too busy appreciating the calm silence between Bakugou and I mixed with the rain pelting against the window to hear what Aizawa was saying under a murmur broke out across the classroom, gaining my attention.

"It's time to formulate your code names. Your hero names." Aizawa announced, and everyone began cheering in excitement. I would be lying if I said a lazy smile didn't break its way onto my face.

Aizawa explained that this was in relation to the draft nominations that occurred after the sports festival, and how they were akin to interest in our future potential. He began tallying the nomination, and it was black and white. Even though I had gotten second place, I got the most nominations, which visibly pissed Katsuki off. I had 4,438 nominations, Katsuki trailing close behind with 4,123, and Todoroki with 3,556. Everyone else had gotten under 500 noms.

"Based on this...regardless of whether or not you received any nominations, I'll be having you all go get some so-called "work-place experience." Aizawa further explained how this connected to us finding our hero names as Midnight barged in, drawing in all attention like a black hole.

We all scribbled on the whiteboards handed out, and 15 minutes later, most of us had our answers. I juggled through the many ideas (see poll at end) but settled on one, if only temporarily. Bakugou smirked at me with confidence, but wouldn't let me see his board.

As the people began rattling off names such as "I cannot stop twinkling" and "Alien Queen", Katsuki an I could barely hold our laughter in.

It's finally time for Katsuki to go up, and with the amount of confidence radiating off the boy, you'd think he had the best name ever.

However, as he held up his whiteboard, scrawled in Bakugou's messy capitalized writing was "KING OF EXPOLO-KILLS" and I just about died from laughter. I literally fell out of my chair, tears dribbling from the corners of my already-tired eyes. I inhaled deeply, crawling into my chair and inheriting a glare from Bakugou as he stomped back to his seat. I wiped a tear from my eyes and gulped, thankful for the good laugh.

"Alright shithead, if you think you're so smart then why don't you go up and share your wonderful name?" He gestured harshly to the front of the room as the class turned their attention to me. I shot Katsuki the bird before shuffling to the front of the room, tucking the white board under my arm and stepping up behind the podium.

I cleared my throat silently and exhaled before propping the board up in front of me.

"Gaia, heroine of earth and it's worthy inhabitants." I pulled at the collar of the sweatshirt, suddenly feeling all too hot. After a few seconds of silence, applause and cheers filled the classroom with praise from Midnight. I smiled softly before sticking my tongue out at Katsuki as I filed back to my seat.

The rest of the day was considerably uneventful, barring Katsuki's less-than-kosher reaction to Izuku's choice of super-hero name (Deku), Katsuki's 'improvement' of a name (Baron of explodo-kills), and the fact that Katsuki walked me all the way home. Yeah, nothing that important.

A/N: First off, holy SHIT it's been like, a month. I'm so sorry, I literally have no time anymore. With all honors/AP and football season and parties every saturday I've had no time to sit down an properly write. However, I "luckily" came down with the flu and I've finally had the time. Now, for the poll; what should your superhero name be? Comment on what you think.
