(Note: Rewrote this on 2/18/15 (original was posted back in like Nov 2013 or something), and am honestly kinda please with how it turned out o3o Not the very beginning though, too lazy to think of more details for that. But things should actually make more sense now as you continue to read. Yay~)

~Amy~

"Soniiiic!"

The blue hedgehog slid to a stop, turning to see me with one hand on his hip. "'Bout time, Amy. Thanks!" He said smiling, taking the pink cotton candy that I held out I him. I had blue, thinking it'd be cute like that.

"This place is huuge, Sonic!" I exclaimed. I felt like a ball of energy. "There's so many rides- ooh, let's go on them all!"

To my surprise and delight, he didn't protest. "Which one are we goin' on first?"

"How about the roller coaster?" I asked, ripping off a bit of the fluffy blue sugar and popping it into my mouth.

"If you think you can handle it," He teased with a smirk before walking with me towards the rides.

I was so happy he was cooperating. Even if he was only playing along to make me feel better. Even if he was acting, it was enough for me. I had never envisioned myself actually here with him, in the romantic, nighttime themed Twinkle Park. Riding roller coasters, playing with bumper cars.. He was fine with doing it all. And not only that, but he seemed to be enjoying himself. I was glad. At least, until I tried to drag him to a fortune telling booth.

"Come on, Sonic!" I demanded, pulling him by the head. He was refusing to move.

"But we already did this!" He whined, stumbling after me.

I scoffed. "Almost three years ago!"

"Good enough for me!"

"No! Come on!" I demanded as I struggled to bring him in through the curtain. I swear, he was just like a little kid not wanting to do something. People were watching, but I was used to that by now. People knew our relationship. People knew that we were in love, even if he denied it. It was just so obvious that we were meant to be.

The room was dark, just faintly lit, but I couldn't tell what or where the faint source of light was. An old, wrinkly human woman sat at a table, and as I dragged Sonic closer, she lifted her gaze to us. Her head was wrapped in an exotic purple scarf, with only her eyes showing. She gestured to the two chairs across the table from us, and I obliged, pushing Sonic into the chair beside me.

"Lovers?" Her voice creaked as she looked between us.

"Yes!" I chimed with a smile, to which sonic rolled his eyes.

"Very well, then," She said, then cleared her throat. "I see.. I see.." The stereotypical woman began, waving her hands above a glass 'crystal' ball.

"What? What do you see?" I asked excitedly. Sonic just chilled in the chair beside me, acting disinterested.

"I see..." She began again. "I see a dark misfortune that shall fall upon you. The both of you. One that you cannot conquer alone. You must.." She paused. "You must rely on more than your own thoughts and feelings, because they will be what bettays you. You must rely on each other. If not.. Then the darkness will spread."

My smile quickly faded into an expression mixed with shock and uncertainty. I glanced to Sonic, who had peeked an eye open and was giving her the exact same look. She must have noticed, because she quickly cleared her throat.

"I mean.. Even when all else fails, love will stand strong! I see... Twins in your future!"

"What?" I asked breathlessly, and yet Sonic spat the same word at the same time.
