The next day~

I was nervous. Every time I tried to calm myself down, I would imagine that she wouldn't be there. I knew she only wanted to be friends but I could still hope. I took another deep breath and opened my wardrobe. Oh gods. It wasn't like I had many clothes and didn't know what to choose but I was new to trying to get out of friend one. I mean, I only had one other girlfriend before and we practically knew each other since forever. I sighed and told myself I was going too far. I put on a simple white shirt and a pair of jeans, stuffed my phone into my pocket and left the hotel half an hour earlier, praying that she would be there.

I groaned as I looked at my wardrobe. What on earth was I going to wear? I was a very organized person and had half of my wardrobe for going out and the other half for casual wear. The ones in the middle were a mix of both. I decided to grab a simple green dress and rushed to change. I hadn't had time to prepare and was rushing. I just hoped that he would appear. I was tired of having my heart broken by the ones I who thought cared.

Zach bit his lip nervously as he waited for Trinity to arrive. He had less than an hour to get to know her before he had to run back to the hotel for a meeting with Simon. Letting out a deep breath, he started tapping his foot to the rhythm of Demons by Imagine Dragons, the very song Trini sung the day before. For some unknown reason, it had become his favorite song. Soon, all his worries disappeared when the next person walked into Starbucks.
She was wearing an emerald green dress, matching shoes and barely had any make-up on. Zach hated it when girls had too much of it on. It hid their natural beauty and personalities. She was only wearing a dash of gold mascara which brought out her eyes. She smiled when she saw him and sat down before him. "Hey, Zach."
"Hi, Trinity..." He replied. "Call me Tri. All my friends do. Now, what do you want to know about me?" She asked and we started a game of Rapid-fire questions. Zach just blurted out a stream of questions and Trinity answered them as much as she could.

Just as I was about to ask my final question, the alarm on my watch rang. I was confused. I was sure I set it on my phone. Unless... I twisted my wrist to look at my watch and gasped. Mentally. "Sorry, Tri. I really have to go." I said. She smiled. "Go ahead. You don't want to get Simon impatient." I just gaped. "How-" She laughed.
"Just go Zach!" She said and shooed me away.
"One last thing. Can we do this again some other time?" I asked. She shook her head, not matter how hard I pleaded. "How would I know you'd be there?" she asked me. "Trust me." I told her. She sighed and finally smiled. "Alright! Just text me." She replied and waved to me as I raced back to the hotel. I didn't know how I had the energy to run back the whole way but somehow, I did. Must be the happiness, I told myself. I ran up the stairs to our hotel room and shoved the card into the lock. I wiped away my sweat before walking in as casually as I could so they couldn't tell I ran all the way here but my body thought differently. The moment I was within landing reach, I collapsed on the couch. "Hey Zach, you need any water?" I heard Andrew ask and shook my head. "I'm fine." I panted. "Just ran the whole way from Starbucks and climbed the stairs for no reason."
"Why on earth would you climb the stairs to the eleventh floor?" I heard Simon ask. He must've been waiting for me. "I dunno." I shrugged. "I felt like I could do anything."
Colton smirked. "You got her, didn't you." It wasn't even a question.
"Her?" Simon asked. "Yeah. Our hopeless romantic finally found his girl." Andrew grinned maniacally.
I groaned. "Can we just get to the point? Simon, what are we singing next week?" I asked, effectively changing the subject. "Life is a highway by Rascall Flats. And since its Thanksgiving on the same day, I assume you're going to dedicate this song to someone."
"My uncle Bill." Andrew said and he teared a little. We all knew he didn't like talking about him. "All of you?" We nodded. "Alright then." Simon sounded a little disappointed. Who knew who he was expecting us the dedicate it to?
