I fumbled with the lock while the others waited impatiently behind me. I was so nervous I forgot which key was for the door. After pushing every key into the lock, I finally unlocked it and push the door wide open. "Finally!" Colton groaned. "Next time, remind me not to let you unlock doors." I rolled my eyes and wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans. Taking a deep breath, I calm myself before deciding to find Trinity. "You guys unpack, I'll go look for Tri." I told them before heading up the steps. They creaked eerily beneath me and I wasn't one to be scared of ghosts or scary noises, but I honestly felt like I was walking into a haunted house. The second level was pitch black and it wasn't even 7pm. I flicked the light switch on and headed on to the third floor. The hallway was lighted but there wasn't a soul in sight. Then, I chided myself. "There's only one person who lived here during the tour, of course you wouldn't see anyone else. Taking a chill pill, Zach!" Seriously though, where was she. First room I checked was mine, and despite not having touched it for a month or so, it was relatively clean. Next, I checked Trinity's room. Everything was in their usual places, except for that one small note on her table. I picked it up. The paper was still crisp and the ink hadn't dried yet. I read it quickly.

"I can't handle it anymore. Goodbye, Zachary.

I love you

~Trinity"

I stared at the note in horror. What did she mean by 'goodbye'? Was she leaving me? Then, I remembered our first truth or dare game.

"What's one fact about you that you regret even when you think about it?" Sierra asked Trinity tentatively. She blinked in surprise but I could see pain in those beautiful amber orbs of hers.

"I'm suicidal."

The roof. I panicked but clutched the paper and raced to the roof top of the house. I was panting by the time I reached the top of the house but the sight before me made me resist the urge to rest. Trinity stood before the ledge, the wind blowing her hair away. I looked down sadly and saw a trail of drops of fresh red leading to the source, Trinity's arm. I stepped forward quietly and saw blood running down her arm from something carved into it and dripping from her fingers. I inhaled sharply when I realized it was my name. "Trinity, please." I whispered as she took a step towards the ledge. She froze, but turned anyway. Those amber eyes that once gleamed bright had faded to a dull orange. "Don't do it." I pleaded her, taking a small step forward. "You're supposed to still be on tour." She muttered softly. "And when you're back, I'll be gone." I shook my head. "Why?" I whispered. Without waiting for her reply, I strode forward and enveloped her in a hug. Then, I realized how thin she was. Literally a bag of bones, she was. She shook her head before resting it on my shoulder. I wasn't taking no for a reply but I let it go anyway. I didn't let go for a while, but eventually, she collapsed in my arms. At first, I thought she fell asleep but her eyes were wide open. "You guys got any food?" She whispered. i nodded. "When was your last meal?" I asked her worriedly as I carried her down the stairs. She shrugged. "Um...last week?"

Zach had gone up to search for Trinity for at least 10 minutes already and I was getting worried. Colton and Andrew however, were completely oblivious to his disappearance and were preparing food. I heard footsteps heading down the stairs and assumed it was them. Zach appeared, carrying Trinity, who was apparently asleep. "What took you so long?" Andrew asked. So he noticed his dear friend was gone. Trinity's eyes fluttered open. She shot Zach a look and smiled weakly at me. He shrugged at Andrew. "You know me well enough." He stated simply. Andrew sighed. "Food anyone?" He asked finally.
