2 Chapter 22/23-Jar of Hearts

(Trinity's P.O.V)

I stared out of the window on the plane emotionlessly as I headed back to LA. I just left after that episode with...just thinking his name sent pangs of heartache into my heart. Why did I have to fall for that empty promise of trust every time? I closed my eyes briefly and fell into an endless void of darkness.

I headed to the boys' recording studio where I sometimes waited for them to finish recording. I gave a small wave to Helen, the receptionist, who gave me a warm smile back. Kaleo, who was in charge of the recordings, wrapped me in a bear hug."What're you doing here?" He asked cheerily. "Any spare recording studio?" I asked back. His eyes lit up and he stood back. Bowing low, he courted me to the studio like an usher. I laughed. This man never failed to make me smile.

I stood before the microphone, gripping the sheet of music. A single tear left a wet trail down my cheek but I quickly rubbed it off before Kaleo could see. "And who do you think you are?Running around leaving scars, Collecting your jar of hearts, And tearing love apart. You're gonna catch a cold, From the ice inside your soul.

So don't come back for me. Who do you think you are?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to steady my voice. I made my choice. I was going to open their tour.

I grabbed my luggage from the conveyor belt and headed out to call Joshua. He answered me after two rings. "Hey, Tr-Vicky!" he said cheerily, only managing to change the name in time. "I'm in Cali right now to open. When is the show?" I asked, quickly hopping into a cab and heading over to my hotel. "In two hours. Z is a wreck and I doubt Fifth Harmony can handle five songs by themselves." the girls and I had been supposed to have a solo each, then two group performance and the last one was all together with the boys. I told him I would get there soon and hung up. I was going to show them what I was made of.

(Zach's P.O.V)

I buried my head in my hands as we waited backstage. Two days into the second tour of our lives and everything has already gone wrong. I have to admit, yesterday was entirely my fault. Just thinking about it made my head pound, adding to my already massive headache. That random chick had come on the elevator with us while Fifth Harmony was still getting ready. She waited until we were three floors away to the ground floor before attacking me with her lips. I was so surprised I just stood there, momentarily stunned. I must've been knocked out or brainwashed or something as I thought it was actually Trinity and started kissing back, by the time I came to my senses and pulled away, she was shouting in my face. I heart cracked a little wider as I remembered the tears streaming down her face. Why did I do that?

(Andrew's P.O.V)

I shared an anxious glance with Colton as Zach paced up and down, his face an ashen white. Once or twice, he would stop and bury his head in his hands before going back to pacing. He gave me a small nod. "Zach, the show starts in ten." I told him quietly. "Fifth Harmony's going on soon." he gave me a small nod. "Do you think she'll ever forgive me?" He muttered. "It depends on her, Zach. You know that."

"What I don't know is whether my life is going to get any better."

(Lauren's P.O.V) [Betcha didn't see that coming]

I grinned excitedly as Joshua delivered the news. We had waited all year to perform with Trinity but after that episode with Zach, I wasn't so sure. The news that she was performing soon was an excitement to us all. I couldn't wait!

(Trinity's P.O.V)

I took a deep breath as the girls neared the end of their song. After the next three performances, I was done with fame from being Zach's ex. My eyes burned yet again from unshed tears. Each of the girls from Fifth Harmony gave me a hug as they came down from stage. This was it.

(Andrew's P.O.V) [sorry for the repeated swaps]

I watched as Fifth Harmony stepped down the stage. They were going for a really short water break before going for Round Two. I sighed and turned my back to the stage. This tour is horrible without Trinity and Zach.

(Trinity's P.O.V)

I stepped onstage bravely, meeting the crowd with my chin held high. Immediately, without any introductions, the music to 'Warrior' by Demi Lovato played and I held the microphone to my lips, ready for the performance of my life.
