(Trinity's P.O.V.)
The second day of school.
(Hamilton College, 2014)
I hefted my bag over my shoulder as u trudged into the classroom. Ugh, college. Zach, Colton and Andrew were lucky to not have to go to school. I sighed and took my usual seat at the back of the classroom, ignoring all the looks my 'classmates' gave me. I may be a straight A student but when it comes to friends, I may as well fail every time I try. I rested my chin on my hand as Mr. Boring started his lecture. No kidding, that was his real name. Just as I was about to fall asleep, the door flew open and a girl with brown hair and blue eyes burst into the room. "Sorry, sir!" She gasped as she headed for the only empty seat-beside me. Why did she seem so familiar? She plopped herself next to me and grinned. "Hey, you'd better watch out, Trinity'll probably spread her disease to you!" Sneered Beatrix, the 'popular' bitch. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Welcome, Ms Hunnington. Ms Lynwood next to you will be you guide of this school, since you are new." Mr Boring told us.
"Hunnington?"
"Lynwood?" The girl and I gasped at the same time. I only knew one Hunnington my entire life and that was my old high school bestie, Chloe. Peering closely, I could definitely see the same blue eyes and brown hair. "Is that really you, Chloe?" I asked softly as Mr Boring continued with his lesson. She nodded and beamed.
*time skip*
It was the end of school and a flood of students streamed out of the school. "Are you free later?" I asked Chloe as we headed out. "Yeah. Why?" She responded. I smirked. My plan was definitely going to work. "Come over to the house next to mine. I've got an old friend of ours you'd want to meet..." I told her. "It's Zach, isn't it?" She asked. I nodded. "How'd you know?" I should've prepared a plan B. "You're all over the news, gurl! Have you not googled Zach Beeken and found your name in headlights yet?" She frowned. I shook my head, confused. "Anti-social nerd with an addiction to sports, remember?" I reminded her of what I was called in High School. Chloe rolled her eyes. "You aren't even that anymore!" She exclaimed as I knocked on Restless Road's door.
The door swung open and Zach stood by the door. When he saw Chloe, his jaw dropped. He then swept her up in a massive hug. I squeezed my eyes closed as jealously spiked through me. I cursed myself for being the jealous, overprotective girlfriend. I mean, it's only a hug! "Trinity, you all right?" I heard Zach ask with concern. I gave him a small smile and nodded. "Never been better." With that, I headed into the house. Chloe followed me curiously. Colton was eating in front of the television and stared as Chloe walked in. He had this dreamy look in his eyes and I recognized it immediately. Looks like someone's in love...I thought craftily. Andrew walked down and I introduced him. "Now that we're all here, who up for a game of Truth or Dare?"
