(Trinity's P.O.V.)
I woke up in a familiar hotel room. I shot up and found I was still in my dress from last night but my heels were beside the bed. My head was pounding but I managed to stagger into the bathroom before puking my guts out. I recognized Zach's room after I was done washing my mouth and making sure my hair wasn't sticking out all over the place. Straightening my leather jacket, I headed downstairs. Zach was sitting on the couch, scrolling up and down something on his phone. "Hey." I said and he looked up. "Look who's up." He mumbled, his attention mainly still on the phone. "What happened last night?" I asked tiredly. "Well, after I knocked the guy out, you practically fell asleep in my arms. We were out for a drink, Andrew, Colton and I, so don't ask."
"Have you got any aspirin, spearmint and coke?" I asked him. He looked at me strangely. I shrugged it off. I was only listing what I needed for hangovers. "Aspirin's on the left cupboard in the kitchen, coke is in the fridge, anything minty will be on a tray under where the aspirin is." He replied. "You alright?"
"Yeah." I groaned. "Hangover."
"How much did you drink?"
"About ten Long Islands..." I groaned as I stumbled to the kitchen.
Once I took the aspirin and popped a spearmint into my mouth, I headed to the living room with the bottle of coke. Zach was watching the news and suddenly, a picture of my father popped up on the screen. I shuddered but listened to the news reporter. "Reports have proven that madman Jonas Blake Lynwood has been recaptured and is currently in lifelong jail term for 6 breakouts, the murder of his wife Charlene Rosewell and abusing their child-" A picture of my mom and I flashed on the screen and I squeezed my eyes shut as the reporter continued. "-Trini Lynwood. That's it for today's news, folks!" Trini was my name until I was free from my father's clutches, where I headed to someplace new and changed my name to Trinity.
"You never told me you were Trini Lynwood." Zach stated. "Four years ago, there was a girl named Trini Lynwood two years below me. She was the geeky one, always wearing nerd glasses and being the teacher's pet. Or that's what all my friends said. A girl named Chloe Hunnington, who was her best and only friend, said she was the sweetest person ever. She wore long sleeves to cover her arms and no one ever seen them before. I even had a small crush on her then. So that was you?"
"Yes. I was nerdy but also the smartest. The things I would bring with me everywhere were fiction books. All different kinds of books about fantasies and things like that. My father was already beating me up, so I just cut to release all the stress. That was me. Oh, congrats on Top 4, by the way." I congratulated myself for changing the subject so quickly. "How did you feel about Ellona's elimination?" Zach asked me.
"How in the world did she get eliminated?" I exclaimed. "She was so good!" He shrugged. "So when's your next performance?" I asked. "Next Wednesday." He replied. "Which male singer or group do you fangirl after, they must be from the X Factor. " He asked me. He was expecting me to say One Direction, for sure. "Emblem3!" I replied cheerfully. "So I'm just gonna ask you some stuff about us, I guess." We just sat there and asked questions back and forth, not caring if the others heard or not.
