Chapter 8-The Elimination

"And the 3rd and final contestant going to the finals is..." I knew we were no match for Jeff immediately. We were going home. "Jeff Gutt!" Mario announced and Simon turned to us and gave us a sympathetic look. He smiled and opened his arms for a hug. We gave him a group hug. I honestly could not feel anything. I was numb. Mario came over and did the usual elimination process. I honestly think they already prepared those 'Best Moments On The X Factor' clips every elimination. Colton broke down a little during the clip but honestly I think if it wasn't us, I didn't know who else would get eliminated.

After a large round of hugging, tears and goodbyes, we headed for the Exit Interview. Simon told us we would definitely get signed by him after the interview. We headed back for the hotel to get our stuff. We were mobbed once or twice but I didn't care anymore. Trinity was waiting at the hotel for us. She smiled sadly when we reached her sight. The first person she went over to hug was Colton. I didn't know why but all I felt was a sudden surge of jealousy. I mean, I already admitted to having feelings for her and she didn't have the same so why should I care? I kept my face calm as Trinity followed us into the rooms. I had already pack most of my things since I guessed we would never out stand Jeff or Alex and Sierra. We would still keep in touch but they were still in the competition while we were heading off into the unknown.

"So where are y'all heading?" Trinity asked us. "Into the wild!" Andrew shouted and leapt onto his suitcase. "Onward mighty stallion!"

I sighed and mentally facepalmed myself as Colton copied him. "Guys, stop. We could get hurt, injured, ram into a wall, become physically or mentally paralyzed, shatter every bone in our body or break our necks and die so get off those bleedin' luggages and act like proper 19 year olds for goodness' sake!" I snapped. Andrew and Colton jumped off them and mumbled a "Yes, sir!" each. "Typical Zach, making sure two guys named Andrew and Colton safe since 1995!" Trinity giggled. I love her laugh...getting sidetracked here. I rolled my eyes. "You actually got the year right!" I congratulated her a bit as Colton and Andrew, seeing I was distracted, jumped onto their suitcases and started having more fun. I groaned. "You know what?" I shouted after them. "I ain't even gonna bother. You two can go smash into that glass wall or hit that stone over there and fall over..." As if the heavens heard me, Colton's suitcase hit the stone I was pointing at and it fell over, taking him with it. "...See? I told you!"
