"Hey, Molly?? Jake??" Abigail shouted while entering my room, she saw Jake sitting down sobbing "Jake what happened??" She asked in shock "Molly left me" he said continued sobbing "What do you mean Molly left you??" She asked still in shock "She was scared of me being hurt by Gabriela so she left me and I don't know where she went" he said while sniffling "Oh my god, we need to do something" she said panicking "I have to do something Alex, she's my best friend" Abigail said still panicking "Okay baby girl, but you have to calm down first" Alex said while holding her shoulders "Don't tell me to calm down, my bestie is out there" she said getting angry and Alex moved his eyebrows up, he made her a sign to tell her she's panicking "Okay now I hear it" she said and she sighed "We will find her, don't worry man" Alex said to Jake "I sure hope so" he said.
My P.O.V
I was sitting down waiting for the bus so I can go to my grandma's house, she was the one who took care of me when my parents died, my parents died when I was 6 years old and I had a father who was violent and abusive and I never learned to trust anyone that's why I don't want to trust Jake to protect me, I want to but I can't. I trusted a lot of people but they let me down so I just never tried anymore. My grandmother was like a mother to me, she took care of me since I was little and till I was grown enough to go to school and we moved around a lot because she didn't have a stable job, I grew up in a pretty rough childhood. While in my thoughts someone touched my shoulder and when I looked up it was Mitchell my ex-boyfriend.
"Hey, what's a pretty girl like you doing here??" He asked "Oh hi Mitchell, I'm just waiting for the bus to come" I said faking a smile "Ah! You don't have to wait, I can just drive you wherever you're going" he said "You would do that for me??" I asked "Sure, it's no problem" he said while scratching his head "Thank you" I said and he helped me with my luggages and we got in the car "Where are you going??" He asked "Um to my grandmother's house" I said while putting my seatbelt on "Okay, what's the address??" He asked. I told him the address and he put it in his GPS and he started driving "Why are going to your grandma's house without Abigail??" He asked "Um because......." I said while searching for words to say but I couldn't find none so I started crying "Oh my, I'm so sorry Molly I didn't mean to make you cry" he said worrying "It's okay Mitchell, I'm just going through something" I said "You want to talk about it?? I made a mistake when I was your boyfriend, I didn't listen to you but I want to make it up to you" he said with a sad expression on his face "That's sweet Mitchell but I don't want to talk about it okay it's too personal, thanks anyway" I said while smiling "Okay no problem" he said and he continued to drove us.
"Thanks again Mitchell" I said while grabbing my luggages "It was no trouble, and hey if you need a ride back home just call me alright" he said while he winked "Okay I will thanks" I said and he drove off. I sighed before I rang the doorbell, no one answered so I rang again and my grandma opened the door, "Oh my goodness, what a surprise!!!!!!" She gasped "Hi grandma" was all I managed to say and I started tearing up "Oh sweetie what's wrong??" She asked while touching my cheeks with her hands "I just missed you so much and with everything that's going on in my life right now, I need you grandma" I said with tears rolling down harder on my cheeks "Oh sweetie, I've missed you too, I need you to stop crying and tell me everything" she said while helping me with my luggages and we entered her house. It wasn't very big, it wasn't very small either "I forgot how this place looked before I left" I said while sitting down on the couch "Well I did some customizing, do you like it??" She asked "It's beautiful grandma" I said faking to smile "Sweetie tell me, what made you come all this way from New Jersey to come see me" she asked and I put my head down "Grandma, the real reasons I came here is because I missed you and my life is not going well" I said "What do you mean sweetheart??" She asked "Well ever since I left here, I met new friends I even had a boyfriend" I said "Had??" She asked "Yeah I broke up with him, on my way here" I said "Why dear??" She asked "I-I-I" I said and tears couldn't help but fall out of my eyes.
"Oh honey, come here" she commanded and I went to her and she hugged me tightly "It's okay darling, everything will be okay" she said as she ran her hands through my hair "I really loved him grandma and I still do" I sobbed "Now stop your crying and tell me everything okay" she said and I calmed down "I was with him for quite awhile and everything was going well until----" I said and I felt tears wanted to get out but I pushed it back in "Until his ex-girlfriend showed up and she ruined everything " I said while sniffling "What did she do??" She asked "Well she ruined my life that's what she did, she made it hard for me to trust Jake" I said while clearing my eyes "So you just gave up??" She asked in a serious tone "What was I supposed to do grandma??!!" I said raising my voice a little "You were supposed to fight, I thought you how to be a survivor and leaving her to win is going to make her think that you're weak and you're not weak, you're a strong beautiful young lady that I raised you to know better than that" she said "Maybe I am weak grandma, I have no more fights left in me I give up!!" I said I ran outside "Molly!!! Molly!!" She yelled but ignored her calls, I just wanted to be far away from all this as possible just me and my thoughts.
