Chapter 9: Bonding time

Jake P.O.V
After Molly went off to work, it was time for me and Oscar to have some bonding time. I already cooked his food and I was just waiting for him to wake up, *baby cries* "Well that wasn't too long" I said to myself. "I'm coming buddy" I said as I ran up the stairs to his room, I slowly picked him up "Shh shh, it's okay, daddy's got you, it's okay" I said quietly and he calmed down a little bit. "You hungry??" I asked in a playful manner and he cooed, "I'll take that as a yes" I laughed. I went downstairs with Oscar still wrapped up in my arms, his food was already in the kitchen so I took it and went to the dining room. I sat down and I started feeding him, "Here comes the airplane" I said and I put the spoonful in his mouth and he gladly took it and enjoyed it, "It's good huh?" I said playfully and he cooed again, I laughed at his cuteness.
After I feed Oscar, I cleaned his mouth, and I changed his diaper and gave him a bath in his little bathtub. I put new clothes on him and when I finished, he looked so handsome just like me, I wanted to clean the house so I put him in his baby carriage next to me. He was watching my every move, "One day son, you're gonna be cleaning like me, like daddy" I said and he smiled "Gravy!!!" Oscar mumbled "You called me daddy or was it gravy??" I asked "Anyway you said your first word, daddy's proud of you little guy" I said as I took him into my arms.

Molly P.O.V
Even though I was the manager, I still had to work and answer bunch of calls just like everybody else. "This is the bank of transferring, how may I help you??" I asked politely, "Well, what we do is that if you have money you'd like to transfer to another location like a safe, deposit box, or the Cayman Islands, we can help with that" I said "Okay sir, just give me your location and information and I will transfer that for you right away" I said. After a few minutes of getting information, I was finally done "All done, pleasure doing business with you, have a good day sir" I said "You're welcome" I replied politely. It was lunch time, I was eating in my office today instead of the cafeteria, I was ready to see what surprise Jake was talking about. I opened my lunch bag and it had a sandwich, an apple, a homemade cupcake, a vanilla shake. I was so happy and there was a little note at the bottom of the lunch bag and it says It was my pleasure doing your lunch today, I knew you'd forget it, so enjoy every last bit of the cupcake because I made it with the love I have for you, I love you beautiful and have a great time at work and eating the cupcake. I tasted the cupcake and it was DELICIOUS, "Thank you baby" I yelled. "Molly you're alright" Lucia said while barging in "I'm okay Lucia, I was just thanking my husband for this wonderful cupcake" I said and she shook her head.

Mr. Matthew transferred Lucia here to Florida to be my assistant, and she's a wonderful assistant. I don't really treat her like an assistant, she's more than that, she's a friend. Well I was finally done and it was time to go home, I said goodbye to everyone and I went in my car and drove home. I locked my car and entered the house "Jake I'm home!!!" I yelled and no answer, "Jake?? Baby??" I said, I checked the kitchen, he wasn't there, I went to the living room, I saw him with Oscar wrapped in his arms and they were both asleep. I smiled at the both of them and I pulled out my phone and took a picture of this magical moment, I carefully took Oscar out of Jake's arms and I went upstairs, and I put Oscar in his crib. I went back downstairs, and I sat next to Jake "Thank you" I whispered while planting a soft kiss on his cheek, I decided to relax for the night so I got comfortable and I laid my head on Jake's lap and went to sleep.

Jake P.O.V
I woke up to find someone laying on my lap, and I realized it was Molly. She looked so peaceful just laying there, after a few seconds Oscar started crying which causes Molly to wake up, "I'll get him" she said while stretching "No, you stay here, I'll get him, get your rest beautiful" I said and I left upstairs to Oscar's room. I slowly picked him up and wrapped my arms around him, "Hey sleepy head" I said playfully, I went downstairs to find Molly watching TV. "Beautiful, I told you to get your rest, what aren't you doing that??" I asked "I guess I'm tired of sleeping and if I sleep too much I might get a depression" she said "Alright beautiful, you win" I said "Since I win, I get a prize right??" She asked with a smirk on her face and I thought that smirk wasn't a good thing. "Alright what do you want??" I asked while sighing, "Well, I want you to watch a whole season of Teen wolf with me" she said squealing, "I walked right into that, didn't I??" I asked "Yes you did honey, now get comfortable cause it's about to get a little wild, literally" she said. With Oscar still in my arms, I sat down and Molly searched Teen wolf and that was about to be the longest night of my life, "Gravy!!" Oscar mumbled while we were watching an episode, "Did he just say what I thought-- Oh my gosh baby, he just called you daddy" she said excitedly "Or was it gravy??" She asked in confusion "That's what I thought too in the beginning, but I'm pretty sure he said 'gravy'" I said "I'm proud of you sweetheart, you just learned your first word" she said while showing emotion. I pulled her close to me and our family was complete "Thank you" she whispered "You're very welcome" I replied while planting a kiss on top of her head.
