Chapter 11: Trouble in paradise??

Me and Alex aren't close like we're used to, he's always working and he barely has time for us. By us I mean me and Luna, it's always "Hello and goodbye," he's always going to stupid meetings and I'm tired of it, I want my husband back. I woke up today and as usual Alex wasn't there, I was not going to work today because I had the day off. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, put on some clothes and perfume, put my hair in high ponytail, put on a light makeup, and I went to wake up Luna. I woke her up, bathed her, put on a little outfit on her, brushed her hair and I let her curls down. I made breakfast and we ate pancakes and bacon, and we drank Orange juice, "Ready to go sweetie??" I asked "Yes mommy" Luna replied. Me and Luna left to Molly's house so she could play with Oscar, I rung the doorbell and Jake answered the door "Hey Abs" he said while giving me a hug "Hey cutie pie" he said to Luna and she giggled. I saw Oscar eating breakfast, "Hey handsome" I said to him and he giggled and waved at me. "Where's Molly??" I asked "She went to work" Jake replied, "What about you??" I asked "Canceled because of a meeting" he said. "Oh okay" I said.

"Abs, what's wrong??" He asked "I'm fine" I replied lying and he nodded. He picked up his phone and he was calling someone, "Yeah Emily, I'd like you to come babysit Oscar and a little cutie name Luna, and don't worry I'll pay double" Jake said and I was surprised. He hung up the phone, "Jake what are you doing??" I asked "You and me are going to spend the day together, something's wrong and I want to help" he said and I smiled "Thanks Jake, I'm glad to have you as a best friend" I said "I know" he teased and I glared at him "I'm kidding" he said throwing his hands up in defense. Emily arrived in 10 minutes, "Thanks Emily for coming on short notice, it's only for a few hours" Jake said "It's okay Mr. Jake, it's always a pleasure to babysit Oscar and his little friend I haven't met yet" she said while smiling at Luna and she giggled. "Okay, we'll be back guys, have fun and we'll see you later" I said as I hugged Oscar and Luna "Bye mommy" Luna said "Bye sweetheart" I replied, me and Jake left to his car.

Jake drove us to this café and we entered and sat down in a table "You want to order something??" He asked "I already ate breakfast but I'll take a coffee" I said and he nodded. The waitress came and she took our orders, after a few minutes she came back with what we ordered, I took a sip out of my coffee and Jake was watching my every move. "What??" I asked "Would you mind telling me what's bothering you??" He said and I sighed, I sat there in silence for a few seconds "It's....Alex" I said. "What's going on??" He asked "He's always working, he barely has time for me and Luna, we're just not close like we're used to be. I want my husband back but I don't think that's going to happen" I said sadly "Abs, you need to talk to him, this is not high school anymore, you guys are married, just talk to him, I'm sure he'll understand how much you miss him" he said "I guess you're right, thank you" I said "You're welcome" he replied. "It's time for us to be heading back" Jake said and I nodded, he drove us back to his house. He locked his car and we entered the house, I saw Luna playing with Oscar "We're home" I said and Luna ran to me and I wrapped my arms around her, "I wissed you mommy" she said "I missed you too sweetheart" I whispered.
"Jake I gotta go but I had fun today and thank you for all your help" I said "You're welcome" he replied "Say bye to Oscar" I said "Bye Owscar" she said while giving Oscar a hug, "Emily thanks for all your help and here's your pay" Jake said while handing her the money "Thank you Mr. Jake, I'll see you guys next time" she said while giving high fives to Oscar and Luna, "Bye Jake" I said as I hugged him, me and Luna left home.

I got home, bathed Luna, and put her outfit on and I made dinner, me and Luna ate together then we watched a movie called "Sing" and she fell asleep in my arms. I changed her into her pajamas, I brushed her teeth while she was half asleep, and I put her to bed. "Goodnight sweetheart" I whispered while I planted a kiss on her forehead, after I kissed Luna goodnight, I took a shower and changed into my pajamas, I ate some cereal, and brushed my teeth after. I sat on the edge of the bed waiting for Alex to come so I could talk to him. After a few minutes of waiting, Alex finally came home and he entered our room, he was surprised to see me up since I have to go to work tomorrow. "Oh hey baby girl, I didn't expect to see you up" he said while planting a kiss on top of my head and I flinch at the kiss "What's wrong??" He asked "Alex we need to talk" I said seriously "Okay, what about??" He asked "We need to talk about you being a better father and a husband" I said "What the heck you're talking about!?" He asked furiously "I'm talking about you always working and not having time for me or your own daughter, it's always work!! work!! work!!" I yelled with tears in my eyes "I try my best to take care of this family and this is the thanks I get in return" he screamed "You call this 'taking care of your family' well I call it a father not having time for his family, it's always me and Luna, you're never here, if you want to be left alone you can say it!!" I yelled "You know what, being alone sounds pretty good right now" he replied and I looked at him with tears falling down harder. He realized what he just said "Oh baby girl, I didn't mean it like that" he said "No Alex, leave me alone" I said as I ran out of the room to the balcony so I could think.
