The two lovebirds

Chapter 30

            After me and Brandon had our talk, he kissed me goodbye and I started walking to class. As I was walking, I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to reveal a brunette with pretty hazel eyes, I smiled at her and she smiled back. 

"Sorry to disturb you, um....do you know where I can find Brandon? He's on the football team," she asked. 

"Oh..I just left him, he's my boyfriend. Is everything okay?" I asked, her facial expression changed. 

"Huh....How long have you guys been dating? And everything is fine...I uh...just need to talk to him." She replied nervously. 

"Not long, it's been great. He's pretty amazing, talk to him about what?" I asked. 

"Good...I'm happy for him, you seem nice. I can't tell you I'm sorry, it's pretty confidential." She said awkwardly. 

"I totally understand, my name is Luna by the way." I said reaching out my hand. 

"Pretty, my name is---" She was cut off by a voice. 

"Madison!!" A startled Brandon said. 

I looked at them both, clueless to what's going on, 

"Hey baby...well Madison here was asking for you, she needs to talk to you about something confidential apparently." I said. 

"Hi Brandon...It's good to see you again," Madison said shyly. 

"What are you doing here Maddie?!" Brandon asked looking uncomfortable. 

"How do you two know each other?...Sorry for interrupting," I said cutting off Brandon. 

A long pause was initiated.

"She's my...ex girlfriend" Brandon replied sighing, 

"Oh..Well I guess I'll see you then, nice to meet you Madison." I said and walked away. 

Madison P.O.V 

        I came back to my old school to visit because I miss Brandon, I hurt him pretty bad in the past. I've heard news before that he became a player, and all of it was my fault, I am mostly here to make amends...If I can get him back in the process then great! 

"Brandon I need to talk to you" I said sadly. 

"Oh yeah, what about Madison? Is it about how you hurt me?... Huh?!... Is it about how you left me hanging high and dry?! Is it?!" He replied angrily. 

"I'm sorry...I'm here to make everything right, you don't know how much I've missed you. I heard about everything, the girls, the becoming a player...I am so sorry Brandon." I said tearing up. 

"Yeah, I'm sorry too...for putting my trust in you, for loving you as much as I did, for caring Madison!!, I am so sorry." He replied, 

"I'm here not only to make amends..but for you too," I said hopeful. 

"Oh..Oh..I see, you thought you'd just waltz in here with your apologies, and I'd what?...Run back to you...tell you everything will be cupcakes and rainbows again? Huh?! Is that what you thought?" He said angrily. 

I shrugged, 

"Well you thought wrong Madison, it took awhile to get over you and it hurt like hell. Now, I'm happy, I found a girl who makes me better, makes my everything better. You know what, at least I know this one is ready to stick by my side no matter what, and I know for sure she won't toss me away like a sack of garbage." Brandon said. 

Tears started to roll down my eyes, he stared at me tenderly and embraced me in a hug, 

"I once was in love with you Maddie, you'll always have a part in my heart...but our chapter has way too many errors to fix...it's over, I'm ready for a new one to start with someone I truly love." He whispered in the hug. 

"I see, I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry for everything, and it was cruel of me to leave you like that and I will always regret it...that is my curse, I guess this is goodbye." I said sniffling, 

"I wish you all the best Madison," he replied grabbing my shoulders, he looked deep in my eyes...then walked away. 

There he goes...the guy I'll always cherish....forever. 

"Boy I do hope you treat him good Luna...he deserves it" I said to myself and walked away, it really is goodbye huh? 

Luna P.O.V

         I walked to my class worried, "Why would she come here?" I asked myself. 

While I was walking, someone tapped my shoulder, "Again with the tapping" I said frustrated. 

I turned to find Oscar standing in front on me, I rolled my eyes and kept on walking. 

"Luna please...I'm sorry. " He whined, 

"Oscar please, I'm trying to get to my class..I'm already late enough." I said ignoring him. 

"I've really been a jerk to you, and you don't deserve that. I thought if I told Brandon---" He said but I cut him off. 

"That he'd what?!...break up with me? Is that what you thought? Really looking out for my happiness aren't you Oscar?" I said sarcastically,

"I just want everything to go back the way it was...just two best friends, I love our friendship so very much, I don't want to lose you..at least not entirely." He replied sincerely. 

I sighed and stopped walking, 

"Oscar, I don't know what to tell you. I'm always going to love you because we've been friends since forever and you really hurt me these past couple of weeks and I can't promise or tell you if we can make it back from this, because first you broke my trust..second you hurt my feelings multiples times...and third you're such a hypocrite...I don't know if I want to deal with that...It's just too much." I said sighing. 

He looked at me and grabbed me into a hug, 

"Just think about it...please." He whispered. 

"I will," I mumbled and walked away, this day has become so emotionally draining geez. 

After school was over, I saw Brandon walking towards me...we both pulled each other into a passionate kiss, 

"Crappy day huh?" We both asked. 

"Really crappy," I giggled, 

"Are we going to be okay?" He asked. 

"I trust you, and you trust me. I say we're going to be just fine babe." I replied lovingly.

We got in the car and we drove off to the sunset, ready to have an adventure, 

Nah I'm just kidding...he just drove me home.
