Chapter 22: Speechless

*5 years later*
Luna P.O.V
"Luna?? Sweetie?? I got something to tell you" my mom said, "All right, go ahead" I said while sitting down on the couch. "We're moving back to Florida" she said and my eyes went wide, "Really?? I get to see Oscar again??" I asked excitedly, "Yes sweetie, you get to see Oscar again" she said smiling "Thank you, thank you, thank you" I said engulfing her in a hug "You're very welcome" she replied laughing. "So when do we leave??" I asked, "In a week tops" she said and I nodded excitedly, "I can't wait to see all of them again" I said smiling "Me too" she replied.

I'm 17 now and after I moved, I went to a new school and made new friends. As for me and Oscar, we texted every day and sometimes video chatted, but after a while we stopped talking, I didn't know if he changed his number or he didn't want to talk to me anymore. I still kept the necklace that he gave to me and I hope that he kept my bracelet, I'm so excited to see him again, talking to him before was a little awkward because we liked each other but I don't know if his feelings changed about me, I guess I have to wait to find out.

Oscar P.O.V
I woke up and I took a shower, brushed my teeth, put on sweats and some cologne and I left my hair like it was. I made my bed and put everything in their place, I'm not a messy person so I like everything to be neat, I went downstairs to find my mom making breakfast. "Good morning mother" I said while I gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Morning baby, someone's awfully chirpy today" she replied "I don't know but I feel like something good is going to happen to me" I said smiling. "You never know" she replied, "Breakfast is ready" she said while setting plates down, "Here, let me help" I said putting the pancakes in the plates, "Thank you baby" she said ruffling my hair.

"Jake?? Honey?!?!?" My mom shouted, "I can't believe dad's sleeping still" I said "I know right, I mean who sleeps on a Saturday??" She said shaking her head. After a few minutes dad came down looking fresh, "Calm down beautiful, I was taking a nice refreshing shower" he said giving her a good morning kiss. "Breakfast smells delicious" he said while sitting down, we were all eating quietly and suddenly the phone rung, my mom got up to answer it, "Hello??" She said and after a few seconds her eyes went wide. "Mom what is it??" I asked worried and she made me a sign to be quiet, after a few minutes, she came back and sat down. "Mom who was that??" I asked curiously "Nothing, it was just my job" she said and I nodded.

*1 week later*
Me and Amy was hanging out, I know she used to be evil before but she changed and she became more kind and to be honest she grew up to be a pretty girl. I don't want to brag or anything but in my high school the girls practically drool over me and I mean who wouldn't, I'm not a player or anything but I flirt with girls and I don't date them. The only one I hang out with is Amy and she practically begs me to do it, so as I was saying, while me and Amy was hanging out at my house watching tv, the doorbell rung and my mom quickly went to open it. After a few seconds I heard screaming and shouts, so I quickly ran towards the door and I couldn't believe my eyes, "Luna??" I said softly and she looked at me smiling. "Hi Oscar" she replied, I walked up to her and engulfed her in a tight hug, "I missed you so much" I whispered "I missed you too" she mumbled.

"This was the surprise I was working on" my mom said smiling, "This is the best surprise ever" I said. "Hey aunt Abigail, hi uncle Alex" I said hugging them both, "Hey handsome" aunt Abigail replied, "Hey buddy" uncle Alex said. "Dad!!! Get down here!!!" I shouted, my dad came down and his mouth came wide open as soon as he saw them, "Alex!!!! Abigail!!!" He yelled. He ran to come give them a hug, "I missed you guys, I mean you guys are here right now and I'm speechless" he said, "We moved back here and this time we're going to stay and I mean that" Uncle Alex said. "Everyone meet Amy" I said and everybody went silent, "Amy?? I remember her" my dad said "Look I'm sorry about what happened before but I never meant to bully Luna, I was just jealous because she had everything that I didn't have" Amy said and he nodded.
"Luna, can I talk to you in my room??" I asked and she nodded, we walked up the stairs to my room, we got in and I closed the door. "Nice room" she said looking around, "Thanks, I just redid a few things" I replied, "So you and Amy??" She asked and I stayed silent. "It's okay Oscar, I don't mind" she said and I nodded, I noticed that she still had the necklace I gave her before she left, "I see that you still have the necklace" I said and she touched it and smiled, "Yeah, I always kept it with me because I wanted a part of you to be with me" she replied softly. "Do you still have the bracelet I gave to you??" She asked, uh oh I thought, I lost the bracelet while I was redoing my room, "I uh I lost it" I said ashamed of myself. "Oh" she said and she started walking towards the door, "Luna I'm sorry" I said, "It's okay Oscar, it wasn't that  important anyway, I mean we were just kids right??" She asked, "Right" I said and she nodded and gave me a fake smile, and she left leaving me embarrassed.

I went downstairs to find everyone in the living room including Amy talking and laughing. I saw Luna and she quickly glanced at me, "So Luna, do you have a boyfriend??" My mom asked and I tensed up, "No not yet, but I had a crush on a boy who was in my school" she replied and I clenched my jaw. Was she really trying to make me jealous?? Well, now it's my turn "About you handsome??" Aunt Abigail asked, "I'm his girlfriend" Amy quickly answered and I mentally slapped myself. I mean that was a good thing she said that but we're not really dating, it's call hanging out, all of them just looked at us and Luna didn't look jealous or hurt. I forgot that Luna doesn't get jealous, so I did all that for nothing, "You guys look cute together" Luna said making me roll my eyes and Amy was smiling like an idiot, "By the way, Princess we're staying until all of our stuff are moved in, in our new house" Uncle Alex said and my mouth went wide, Oh boy I thought.

Sorry for not updating and it's just because I was busy over the month and I'll try to update more. I know this chapter kind of sucked, it's because I had an headache so forgive me and I promise the other chapters will be more juicy and have more drama lol, so Luna is back and you'll find out how her and Oscar will try to work their friendship out or more.
