*1 week later*
It was time to go home, my week in the hospital was up and so was Abigail's. Jake helped me with baby Oscar, I went to change into regular clothes that Jake had brought for me over the week, After I was done, I said goodbye to the nurse and the doctor and me, Oscar, and Jake left to the parking lot to find Abigail and Alex. We arrived at the parking lot, Alex and Abigail were already there "Hey guys" I said "Hey Lilly" Abigail replied "Hey pinky" Alex said "Seriously??? Pinky??" I asked while raising my eyebrows "I'll come up with something better" he said making me laugh. We all entered the car and Alex drove us home, while we were entering the house, I carefully turned Oscar around so he could see what was happening "Welcome to your new house little guy" Jake said, "Look at that, he's already sleeping" I whispered. The four of us went to the to the babies room and everything was so beautiful "You guys did a wonderful job" I whispered "Thank you" she replied while whispering. I carefully laid down Oscar in his new bed who was made with bars around it to stop him from falling into the ground, and Abigail put Luna in her new bed too who was just like Oscar's "Sleep tight baby" I whispered.
After I put Oscar to bed, I went downstairs to find something to eat, I saw Jake and Alex already had plates set down in the dining room table. "What's all this??" Abigail asked "Well, me and Jake wanted to serve you ladies today because you guys have suffered a lot already so we wanted to make something special to show you guys that we appreciated your braveness" Alex said "Aww, that's sweet thanks guys" I said "Yeah, I find it sweet too that you guys thought of us" she said and Alex winked at her. "Okay gentlemen, what's on the menu??" I asked, Jake handed me a piece of paper well decorated, I read it and found all kinds of delicious food written in it "Oh, it all sound so good" Abigail said "Yeah you're right Abs, how will we ever choose??" I teased and Alex rolled his eyes. "Just playing guys, I'll have the crispy chicken, and buffalo chicken dip in barbecue sauce , what about you Abs??" I said "Um, I'll have the barbecue ribs, and buffalo wings" she said "Okay ladies, we'll whip that up for you, you guys can go relax in the hot tub while we get the food ready" Jake said. Me and Abigail turned to each other and burst out laughing "What's wrong with you guys??" Alex asked "We can't go in the hot tub?? Try in 10 more years" I said "Why not beautiful??" Jake asked "Baby, we're moms now, we got more responsibility, we can't go goof around like we used to, taking care of a kid is more than changing the diapers, it means being there for them 24/7" I said. "Oh I'm sorry, that was a stupid idea. Can I be excused for a moment??" Jake asked while frowning and he left sadly.
"Lilly??" Abigail said and I sighed "I got it" I said. I went to find Jake in the balcony because that was his favorite place to figure things out, I found him standing there and staring into the sky, "Jake, baby??" I said "Oh, hey beautiful" he said sadly. I walked behind him and wrapped my hands around his waist, and I put my head on his back "I shouldn't have laughed, I'm sorry honey" I mumbled on his back "It's okay baby" he said. He turned around and grabbed both of my hands "Beautiful, this is all new to me, I honestly don't know how to raise a baby" he said "Hey, this is all new to me too, but we'll get through it together, and I know we'll raise Oscar to be this handsome gentleman who's capable of doing anything he puts his mind to" I said "Do you really think we can do it??" He asked "I know we can do it" I said while pulling him into a tight hug, "I love you beautiful" he said "and I love you" I said and he pulled me into a kiss. We went back to Abigail and Alex, He had already finished with the food "Mm, it smells good" I said "I know right" he said and I rolled my eyes, "There you go" he said while handling me the plate of my choice "Thanks Al" I said "See?? I can come up with a good nickname unlike some people" I teased "Whatever, here's yours baby girl" he said while handling Abigail the plate of her choice.
After I finished eating, all of us went to the living room to watch a movie, after a few minutes, we heard the baby monitor and it was Oscar and Luna. Me and Abigail went upstairs and she took Luna and went downstairs, I took Oscar in my arms "Hey baby, you're hungry??" I asked and he coos. I laughed at his cuteness and went downstairs, "Look who's awake" I said "Hey buddy" Jake said while coming over to me, I handed Oscar to him "Did you have a good sleep??" He asked and Oscar started to cry "What did I say??" He asked worried "It's not you baby, he's just hungry" I said "Oh okay, you hungry??" Jake asked Oscar. Jake handed him to me and I carefully wrapped my hands around him, I took one of my breast out and Oscar gladly took it in his tiny little mouth and he started drinking like his whole life depended on it, which it does. "Hey, slow down there little guy" Jake said and I laughed "It's not going anywhere baby" I said while slowing Oscar down. Luna started crying "Looks like someone's hungry too" Alex said and Abigail gladly took one of her breast out so she could breastfeed Luna, she started drinking and drinking with her eyes closed, she looked like she was really enjoying it, which she was, so me and Abigail breastfeed our babies until they went back to sleep again and we end up watching movies together and cuddling on the couch .
