Chapter 18: Restoring the friendship....Not really

"You said you wouldn't tell" Luna said with sadness on her eyes, she ran to her room. Abigail called for her but she didn't turn around, "Oscar Jason Monroe?!! What is this about??" I asked angrily "Nothing mom, it's nothing" Oscar said sadly, "You said something about 'getting bullied" Jake said, "It's nothing okay" he said. "Oscar buddy, what's going on??" Alex asked and Oscar sighed, "I said I wouldn't tell" he said "You have to tell us honey, so we can help" Abigail said. Oscar paused for a minute and inhaled "Luna is getting bullied by a girl name Amy in her class, I've never seen it happen since I'm new to the school but she told me that she was bullying her" he said. "Why did she keep this from us??" Alex asked "I don't know, she told me not to tell you guys---" Oscar said, his voice started to crack "Oh honey, it's okay" I said as I hugged him tightly, "I messed up mom" he said while tears are forming into his eyes. "It's okay baby, we're humans, we mess up sometimes" I said while slowly clearing his eyes "It's okay handsome, we can fix this okay" Abigail said and he nodded.

Luna P.O.V
I ran to my room, my mom called for me but I didn't turn back around, I closed my door and locked it, I ran to my bed and I started sobbing, How could Oscar do this to me?? He said he wouldn't tell, now my parents are going to get involve in this and Amy is not going to stop. I thought, Amy's been bullying ever since we were in kindergarten and she hasn't stop, I mean I'm not even pretty, sure I have a fancy house and fancy clothes but so does she, I should've mention this before but my parents are wealthy, my parents and Oscar's parents worked together so they could buy their own houses, we moved last year to a big house and as usual Oscar was my neighbor. They like to be close to each other, which I don't like because I want to be far away from Oscar as possible, anyway aunt Molly is the owner of a bank, and uncle Jake works as a businessman who delivers special items (totally legal). My mom is a designer for big companies and lastly, my dad works as a businessman just like uncle Jake (again totally legal), apart from being rich and having a loving family, there's nothing interesting about me. I mean boys in the school barely notices me, sure I'm too young to have a boyfriend but it would be kind of cool to have some attention, anyway I remember when Amy was bullying me in the bathroom 3 days ago.

~Flashback~
"Mrs. McDonald, can I use the restroom??" I asked while raising my hand, "Sure Luna" she replied while smiling. Mrs. McDonald loved me and I guess you can say that I was a teacher's pet, I got good grades and always did my homework, I was respectful to all of my teachers and I always followed the rules. Anyway back to the bathroom, after I did my business, I walked towards the sink to wash my hands, while I was washing my hands, the door opened revealing my enemy which was Amy the witch. I rolled my eyes and she glared at me, "what are you staring at??" I asked angrily "Something ugly" she said while smirking at me "Well good for you" I said while grabbing the paper towel, "You're think you're all that, don't you??" She asked "No Amy, I don't think I'm all that" I said while wiping my hands "You're so hideous, I can't even look at you" she said and tears were forming in my eyes. I was a sentimental person and I let her get to me "Stop it" I whispered, "Why should I?? Even Oscar doesn't like you, he thinks you're ugly, he even said so himself, and that's why he came to sit down with me in the cafeteria, why can't you stay away from him for your own good" she said "Leave me alone" I said with tears in my eyes "You're gonna be alone, just watch" she said as she left. I let the tears fall down harder on my cheeks, I couldn't believe that Oscar said that about me, did he?? Would he?? That only pushed me to cry harder.
~End of flashback~
While I was on my bed, someone knocked on my door, I got up to look in the mirror and I looked horrible, my eyes were red and puffy, I was pale, and my hair was all messy like I had just woken up, "Luna, it's me princess, open up" my dad said and I quickly went to open it, "Daddy!!" I said as I tightly hug him "I know princess, I know" he said while embracing me. He closed the door and we both sat down on my bed, "Are you okay??" He asked and I glared at him "Okay, that was a stupid question" he said making me chuckle "He said he wouldn't tell" I mumbled "I know sweetie but Oscar didn't mean to, he's just like his dad, they both can't keep secrets" he said while he chuckled. "Really, uncle Jake can't keep secrets??" I asked surprised "Sure he can but not for long though, when your aunt Molly was pregnant with Oscar, she wanted to surprise us with the news but uncle Jake got nervous and he told us without her even knowing" he said and we both laughed. "So what happened??" I asked "Well, your aunt Molly found out and she knew that uncle Jake was the one who told us about the baby, your uncle said he was sorry and she forgave him, it was not a big deal really" he said and I stayed quiet for a second, "So you're saying I should forgive Oscar??" I asked and he glared at me, "Fine, I'll do it for real this time" I said making him laugh, "That's my princess" he said while planting a kiss on my forehead. We were interrupted by a light knock on the door, it was Oscar and I let myself calm down a second "Hey" he said "Hi" I said softly, "Can we talk??" He asked "Sure" I said. "I will leave you two alone, and guys work this out" my dad said seriously while he left, "What do you want to talk about??" I asked "I wanna talk about our friendship" he said and my eyes went wide.
