Chapter 24: Choosing

Luna P.O.V
Brandon was really nice and he even gave me a tour of the whole school and I mean the whole school. We even got some classes together, "This is your last stop Luna, your physics class" Brandon said and I smiled, "Thanks for all your help Brandon, it was really nice of you" I said shyly. "It was no problem cutie, I had a great time with you and I think you enjoyed my company as well" he replied smirking, "Don't flatter yourself" I said playfully rolling my eyes. "Well I'll see you around Luna" he said staring at me tenderly, he slowly approached and planted a kiss on my forehead making me blush, "Goodbye Brandon" I said smiling while entering my class, what a day?? And school didn't even start yet I thought.

Brandon P.O.V
I have never been in love after what happened to me. A long time ago, I fell in love with a girl but she broke my heart so I turned into a player, so I could show them what it feels like to be played or used. Luna just makes my heart beat a million times faster, I already know a lot of things about her and I can tell that she's a sweet girl and sometimes sarcastic too. She makes me feel different, it's like I can be myself around her and not be someone else, I don't want to hurt her or play her, I like her. I'll wait next period so I can ask her if she wants to hang out, my friends will probably think that I'm gonna play her and so does everyone else but they're wrong, and I'm gonna prove them that I care about this girl, and her name is Luna.

*One period later* just imagine it's the narrator from spongebob saying this lol.

Oscar P.O.V
Class was over and everyone was in the hallway going to their next class as usual, I saw Luna and she looked like she was lost. I catch up to her and gently tapped her on the shoulder causing her to turn around, "Hey, need some help?" I asked smiling, "No I'm good thanks" she replied giving me a fake smile. "C'mon Luna, I'm sorry" I said and she ignored me, while we were walking, Brandon walked up to us and we did our handshake. "What's up man" I said, "Just chilling, hey Luna" he said and she looked at him and smiled.
"So no hey to the guy who rescued you this morning" Brandon said and Luna playfully rolled her eyes. "Hey Brandon, I swear you're too much" she replied smiling, "You love me" Brandon said smirking making Luna blush. What the freak is going?? I thought, "So you wanna hang out after school?" He asked and my eyes went wide, please say no, please say no!!! I thought, "Sure" she replied and he smiled, "Okay I'll see you later Luna, bye Oscar" he said and I nodded.

Luna P.O.V
Oscar kept following me down the hallway, walking side to side with me in silence. "You know he's a player right?" Oscar asked breaking the silence, "I didn't know that" I said, "Well, I'm guessing you're his next victim" he said. "Victim?? Oscar what are you talking about??" I asked, "Well he dates girls and break up with them whenever he gets bored with them, he does this every time" he said and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Maybe he changed" I said with a little hope, "Maybe, maybe not" he mumbled. "How do I know you're not making this up?" I asked, "Why would I make something like that up?" He asked. "I don't know, you tell me" I snapped at him, "Luna I'm just trying to protect you from him and his charms" he said, "Oscar, I am not a baby anymore and I do not need you to protect me from anything, I can fight my own battles thank you" I said while walking faster. "So that's how it is, well don't come crying to me when he breaks you heart, because I won't be there" he said angrily, "Good!" I replied.

What's Oscar's deal?? I mean it's my life and I can do whatever I want to do. I found my class and I entered finding everyone staring at me, "Class this is Luna, she's new so make her feel welcome" Mr. Robert said and I smiled. I saw Brandon sitting in the back of the class and he made me a sign to come sit by him but I ignored him, and I sat next to a girl with long dark hair, "Hi Luna, I'm Isabella but you can call me Bella" she said "Nice to meet you Bella" I said while shaking her hand, time flew by quickly and it was time to go to lunch.
I went to my locker so I could put my books back, while I was doing that, Brandon came and leaned into the lockers just staring at me. "Can I help you?" I asked rudely, "Why didn't you come sit by me?" He asked, "Obviously because I didn't want to" I replied rolling my eyes. "Luna what happened??" He asked "You happened, Oscar told me how you use girls, is that what you were going to do with me??" I asked angrily.
"Oh you heard about that" he said awkwardly, "I can't believe you" I said. "Luna I'm not gonna lie to you, I did use girls but I only did that because a long time ago, something happened to me. I am telling you right now that I don't want to do that anymore, I know we just met but I feel something for you Luna, something real and no I was not going to use you because you mean something to me. Sure I've done some pretty messed up things but it's in the past now, I don't want you to think that I'm a jerk because I'm not, I was just hurt, that's why I did what I did. "So you were not going to use me??" I asked blushing, "No, never, because I like you Luna" he said and I looked down blushing, "I like you too Brandon" I replied softly, "Luna? Do you want to go out with me? I know I asked before but that was a hang out, I mean really go out with me" he said "I'd love to go out with you" I replied smiling and he softly kissed me on my cheek making me blush, "I'm glad" he said smiling.
