The Rejected Princess

Chapter 2

 There was this bright light that I could feel on my face, I tried pushing it away but it wouldn't budge just than my eyes open and stared straight at the opened curtains where the sun was shining through into my room. I sat up and yawned, stretched a bit before going to the bathroom to do my morning routine. After I was done I exited my room and started walking towards the kitchen I was so excited as I was going to see my mate, I couldn't find him last night so just decided to do that today. Throughout the morning I was thinking of the way he was acting last night as I was walking through the passage past some rooms I saw this two figures against the wall as I walked closer I saw what looked like a guy kissing a girl.

*cough* *cough* I cleared my voice trying to get their attention, I felt my wolf moving around as I was doing this. Just when the guy turned around showing his face and the girl, I heart shattered into a million pieces I could hear Claire howling in agony as we saw the same guy who gave us shocks with just one touch, our mate Alec with the only slut in the whole pack which clearly he must have not known because than if I was him I wouldn't go after a girl who sleeps with anything that has a dick.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked trying not to show weakness, as I was breaking inside.
"Sorry princess Ayla, we won't do that in the corridor again" Alec said with an emotionless voice, just than he opened the door pushing Lily the slut into his room as he was about to enter the room, I stopped him with my words.

"Stop! Can I talk to you Alec?" I asked with hope in my voice
"Yes Princess" Alec answered back
I walked past all the other rooms until I turned to the corner in the right where the library was, I stopped and waited until I heard the door close and could feel him behind me before I spoke.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked trying not to show how broken I was.
"What are you talking about, Princess?" Alec asked looking confused.
"Stop with this princess bullshit! And stop acting like you don't know what I'm talking about!" I shouted at him, heartbroken which clearly he couldn't see.
"Why are you doing this? What have I ever done to you?" I asked on the verge of crying
"I still don't know what you're talking about, can you be more specific? If it's about Lily and I doing stuff in the corridor than we won't next time" Alec said with promise in his tone.
"That's not what I'm talking about! You are my mate and you know it" I shouted back getting pissed that he was playing around.

"What? What do you want me to say? That you're mine and I'm yours? That you're the other half of my soul? That we were destined to be? Well News flash princess does it look like I want you? Am I kissing you instead of anyone else? I was just going to leave this alone and act like we didn't even find out that we're mates but you had to come and talk about it. Now I'll just make it easier for you! I Alec Knight reject You Princess Ayla Black as my mate." Alec said with no emotion, I couldn't hide it anymore and covered my tear filled face with my hands before I was about to accept his rejection I looked up to complete the rejection when to my surprise I was crying in the library all alone with no one, all by myself, he was gone, my mate was gone.
When I finished my crying I wiped my face and walked out of the library towards the kitchen to get my breakfast, I wasn't going to give Alec the satisfaction by hurting me I was going to stay strong because as the princess the whole werewolf race was counting on my parents and I. Entering the kitchen I found Kylie with a tray filled with pancakes, bacon and eggs with a cup of hot chocolate to go with it.

"Oh there you are! I was just about to come up to give your breakfast" Kylie said
"Oh thanks, I knew I could always count on you" I said back
"Ayla?"
"Yes?"
"Ayla?"
"Yes?" I asked Kylie getting annoyed
"What's wrong?"
"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to sound confused. One thing I hate about Kylie is that she always knows when there's something wrong with me.
"Ayla, I know when something's wrong!" Kylie stated *Smart Ass*
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Kylie asked worriedly
"No, not now"
"Ok! But remember I'm always here for you"
"I know" I said as I sat down to have my breakfast.

After I had breakfast I got up, washed my plate than decided to go for a run. As I started walking towards the front door opening it I bumped into a wall which I have no idea appeared where, I fell flat on my butt I looked up to see a cute guy not as cute as Alec but satisfying to the eyes.
"Sorry, I didn't see ya. Are you ok?" The cute guy asked worriedly as he reached his hand down to pull me up.
"Umm Yes..... I guess" I tried to speak out as I was still trying to think who this guy was.
"Are you sure? You don't look to sure" he said looking around me for any sign of pain.
"Yes, Yes! Um who are you?" I asked curiously as I am usually informed if we are expecting guests.
"Oh sorry! Let me introduce myself, I'm Hunter but everyone calls me honey or at least you can I wouldn't mind" He said winking at me.
"hahaha you're so cheesy! Hi! My name's Ayla, you can call me Ay or Ayla" I struggled to say as I was laughing my ass off at his cheesy pick up line.
"Oh it's great to see that I at least didn't break your smile" he said looking at his watch.

"So what brings you here Hunter? To the castle?" I asked staring at him staring at his watch before he looks back at me.
"Nothing I just came to visit my cousin Kylie, do you know her by any chance?" Hunter asked with hopeful eyes.
"Well lucky you, yes I do she's my best friend" I say back smiling.
"Wait! Are you Ayla as in........" Hunter looked at me with great shock.
"Yes" I laughed as I saw him bow down saying.
"I am truly sorry for making you fall Princess Ayla please forgive me?" I looked down laughing as I said, "its ok! You didn't mean it, you're forgiven" I said pulling him back up.
Just then Kylie walks down the stairs and stares at Hunter and I in shock, what she does next was not what I was expecting, she walks slowly growling at him before pulling me behind her.
"What are you doing here?" Kylie growls out as she stands in front of me ready to pounce on Hunter if he makes the wrong move.
"Well hello cousin, long time no see" Hunter says with a change in his tone.
