Unkown P.O.V

"Hey Babe" I walked into the hospital room and was met by the sight of my mate in hospital clothes. I scrunched my nose as I hated the smell of hospitals and the sight of injured people, their sad looks just made me wanna throw up. I walked up to my dear mate and gave him a kiss on his lips. "So how was it?" He looked me in the eye with a slight smirk. "Your acting was so believable even I almost bought it almostttt....." I winked at my dear mate who seemed so much better than how he got admitted in the first place. Our plans were all falling into place I mean no one was suspecting him and after his performance last night it would be stupid if anyone doubted his allegiance. "Well I am the best" he gave me a wink. "So what now?" I asked earnestly. "Now time for phase 3".

Ayla's P.O.V

"Do you know what this means Alec? We can't trust anyone. I mean we don't know who all are part of the rebellion." I stated as Alec stared right back at me trying to process all the information I just gave him. "I understand Ayla. But we can't act irrationally, this just means we need to be smarter." "You're right. we have to be on high alert now but low key. Whatever we discuss here should only be between us and stay here." "Agreed. So what do you want us to do now Ayla?" "We have to find out what that file contains. But since we can't do that now let's just go through the ones we have and cross check records of the new members and what they may have in common.

ok it's been over three hours and we still haven't gotten much information. we've decided to just go through all the files from our current year on till the missing file year. The only thing we've discovered is that about 58 of the new members have one thing in common, they were all part of the fallen 'Greenward Pack',  34 were part of the fallen 'Grizzle pack' and 108 from the 'Floodlane pack' which is actually Kylie's pack. All these packs were attacked by rogues so basically they all had a rogue problem, but if they were attacked by rogues why would they wanna work with the rogues? This doesn't make sense I mean that's if they aren't innocent but we aren't so sure so for now everyone is a suspect.

"urghhh" I sigh in frustration before stretching my arms and giving out a yawn. "Anything new?' "Nope. you?" Alec replies as he still looks through his file intensely. "No.... what time is it?" I ask Alec as I pick up my small box filled with noodles. Yes. since we still weren't done we decided to just order Chinese and yes just from within my kingdom. we had a Chinese takeaway restaurant and because I loved noodle I decided to just order takeaway. "wow. it's 11:00.p.m" Alec marvels at the the time on his watch. "Figures considering we've been at this all day" I got up from my desk and walked towards the couch of the right left side of my office.  As I plopped on it I lifted my legs up and set them onto the little table in front of me, Alec was just was few inches to my right on the same couch still examining the file in his hand. "well I'm done with the 2000-2008 files.. Are you almost done?" I asked yawning yet again. "Almost .. somethings just not adding up" Alec's eyebrows scrunched up in frustration. "mm.. well hurry it up" I lifted my left hand up to the side of the couch to rest my hand on. I was beyond exhausted and couldn't think straight cause I was feeling really tired. Maybe I'll just take a short nap was my last thought before I closed my eyes and let myself drift off. I knew I was alright cause I was with Alec, I don't know what it was but a part of me knew I could trust Alec with my life so I did at this very moment I did.

Alec's P.O.V

"Ok and that's the last of it" I stated before standing up to stretch, to say I was in pain was an understatement I mean I've been in the same position the whole day and I was in need of some stretching. I actually craved a run, in the woods and I couldn't wait for my patrol time which was at 6:00.a.m. "Ayla" I called wondering why she was being so quiet, as I turned to my left I saw a figure on the couch that I honestly did not notice that Ayla was sleeping on the couch and she looked so beautiful. Damn. my mate was so beautiful I always knew anyways, the first time I laid eyes on her she took my breath away. Ayla didn't know this but I loved her so much and I was going to protect her no matter what. I sat back down on the couch to think about all my findings. Well this was gonna be tough, I didn't know what I was going to do I mean we can't interrogate all 200 suspects or we would make the rebels know we're onto them. We'd have to think about a good plan fast and before the rogues strike again. "John" I mind link my beta who was on patrol at the moment. "Yes Alpha?" John replies. "How is it out there?" I ask curious to find out what the rogues were planning. "It's quiet out here Alpha. Literally no noise or movement from all four directions" John states in one sentence. "hmm... well don't let your guard down I know the rogues are planning something and it's something big, keep an eye out and notify me for all possible threats. we need to keep the Queen safe."

Ayla's P.O.V

My pillow was so warm yet felt hard. I moved my head and tried to place it onto my pillow properly. I felt it vibrate a bit . wait. my pillow just vibrated, my eyes shot open and I was met with blue eyes. The same blue eyes that belonged to a certain Alpha, I quickly shot out from the couch. Was I just sleeping on Alec? Oh My Gosh. "What are you doing?" I ask a bit embarrassed but I tried to sound furious. "What do you mean? You were the one literally throwing your body at me" Alec chuckles with a smirk. "Throw? throw? you wish" I scoff. "Relax princess I'm leaving anyways I have to patrol" Alec stands up and gives a slight nod before he turns towards the door. "Oh well... umm after you're done we need to have a meeting about our findings." "As soon as I'm done." Alec turns to give me a wink before closing my office door behind him, leaving me alone blushing. What just happened?
