~Unknown POV~

"They were here recently," I looked to the small group of people I had brought inside with me.

"Then where the hell are they? Because they sure as hell aren't here!" My assistant shouted angrily as though he were a small toddler and his favorite toy had just been stolen from him.

"Now, now. We've talked about your anger, haven't we?"

"Uh, y-yes we have. I apologize. I just, I've got alot against that bi-. I mean girl."

"All she did was tease you. And from what I know, you, my friend, full well deserved it."

"Well, you want her dead too!"

"I do, but my reasoning is better," I frowned, before looking into the shortee boys grey eyes, "She got someone very close to me killed. You know exactly what Cameira did to her. Pretended to be on her side only to betray her and have her murdered."

     "I-I'm so-"

"Zip it. I don't want apologies. Not from you. I want apologies from Cameira when I have her on the ground with the blade of my knife pressed against her throat."

"Yes. I understand. Now, where do you believe they went?"

"Judging by the mess," I looked around at the papers strewn across the room, "They left in a hurry. They mustn't be too far."

I walked around a bit more, the few people following behind me. I looked at the back door, slightly opened. Not alot, just enough for me to notice. I pushed it open comepletely and stepped out into the shady area. Footprints in the mud.

"This way," I shouted at the group that had fallen behind.

I follwed the footprints in the mud to main street; an abandoned dunkin donuts across the street.

"We've got a pretty vague start, but this is better than nothing," I looked over to the grey eyed boy before looking at the rest, "Tell everyone to find a place to rest. The 4 of us will stay at the donut shop across the street. Keep an eye out for anything that could help us find them."

"On it!" Everyone but the grey eyed boy said.

"That means you, too," I frowned at him, "Baden. Go."

"Oh, uh, yes! Yes, Sno! On it!"

"Calm down before you attract attention, you don't know who or what could be nearby."

"Yes, sir," he saluted before turning to catch up with the others. I shook my head at the idiot before sitting down in the abandoned dunkin donuts.
