The next day, Kale came up to Kai and I in the sun room.
"There's a group at the Memorial park across town," She leaned her head in the door and smiled.
"Thanks Kale," Kai smiled back to her as she turned on her heel and left.
"Well, we've got nothing else to do today. Let's go," I looked at the mismatched eyed boy.
"Get up, first."
"Yes, Kai. Look at you, always have a plan. Super organized Kai. Look at you go!" I sarcastically said and smiled at him.
"Of course. I don't want to go anywhere, not today. My feet are absolutely killing me."
I faked a gasp, "What's this? Kai," another fake gasp, "Procrastinating?"
"Just this once."
"I never expected this from you, Kai! Darren, maybe. Farris, definitely. But you, never in a million years."
"You're challenging me."
"Yes, dimwit, I'm challenging you."
"Alright. I'm not giving in though. You're gonna need a forklift to move me from this chair."
"You're literally kidding me, right?"
"Nope. I am not moving."
I threw myself to the couch next to him, "Alrighty then. You win. Are you happy?"
"I won against the all challenging, over competitive Cameira?" He laughed, "That's a first. More so, she let me win! Woo!"
He threw his arms into the air, smiling like an idiot. Like he'd just won the stupidest thing in the world.
"I hate you."
"Shut up, no you don't," he faked a pouty face.
"God, you're adorable."
"God? Where? Why is he more adorable than me? Do I have competition?"
"Competition?"
"That was supposed to stay a thought. But I guess it had other ideas."
"Hmm, sure."
"Soooo. Do you want to go to that group now?"
"Yes."

"I win," I mumble as we leave the library. We're on main street now.
"What was that?"
"I said, I win."
"Oh really?"
Suddenly, he's got an arm wrapped around me and he's tickling my sides.
"W-What? No! Kai! This isn't fair! L-Let me go!" I managed to get out between laughs.
"Nothing is fair, Cam!" He laughed, his hands still attacking my sides relentlessly. His hands unintentionally lowered to my hip bones.
"Kai!" I accidentally moaned out, "T-That's not a ti-ticklish spot."
"Really? Hmm," he did it again, I bit back the forced moan this time, but it still somewhat escaped.
