xxx~ The photo above is of the beloved little chef by the name of Kale! You officially meet her in this chapter so I figured I'd show you what she looks like. ~xxx
I woke up, tied to a chair, in a dark room. I looked around, finding no one. There was a table in front of me and a chair across from me. The room seemed like an interrogation room.
"Hello? Blu? Darren? Someone, literally anyone?"
I sat in silence until I heard a door open and an overhead light turn on.
"Hello, Cameira," Blu smiled and sat down across from me.
"Hey, Kidnapper."
"It's not kidnapping if there's literally no rules."
"Right. Well, what do you want with me?"
"I'm sure you know what I want."
"You want me to fight for you, that's why you haven't killed me yet."
"My sweet, dear Cameira; I never wanted to kill you. I do, however, want to praise you. It takes a lot to want to stand up to such a powerful person. I did, almost singlehandedly, destroy the economy of at least one country."
"Wait... What?"
"You thought it was only the state of Pennsylvania, didn't you? My dear, it's the whole country."
"What? How?"
"I'm Blu. That's how. I had my ways, you don't need to know them."
"Why?"
"You know why, sweetie. Don't you?" I shook my head in disagreement at her statement, "You don't? Curious? I'll tell you anyway. In my opinion I'd rather have no government then have spineless, gutless swines run it. A mojority of politicians are just that. I didn't like it, so I got rid of it."
"You're such a petulant child."
"Look who's talking sweetheart, at least I can keep my fists in my pockets."
"I fight for what's right."
"Back to the topic. If you won't fight on my side, I want you to teach my people how to fight like you. I'll let you go before the war starts."
"Why don't I believe you? You wouldn't let me go that easily."
She stood up, leaned in to my ear, "Sweetheart, wars a brutal thing. I won't have time to keep track of you during it."
She traced a hand on my face, twisting a finger into my already curled hair.
"I won't have time to keep track of you during the war, but I sure as hell can keep track of you now."
"I have a request."
"Yes, Cam?"
"If I said yes to your idea. I have some things I want."
"What are they, sweetheart?"
"I don't want to have to be restrained when I'm not teaching. Darren is my assistant. I get to go wherever I want. I teach whatever the hell I want, whenever the hell I want. And, as for water, I get to use that when I want. I get free range of a gym and gym equipment."
