Naruto's POV

"Please, allow me, Lady Hinata." (A/N Reference ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) I retorted as I opened the back door for her. She sighed and slowly shook her head as she passed.

"S-stop that." She murmured.

So apparently she was the Hyuga heiress to the Hyuga Oil Mines but then she somehow went missing and everyone gave up hope on finding her after almost a year. Hinata didn't need anyone to tell her this, she already knew. She never went missing, she just hid. She didn't want that life but now...

Hinata is drowning in troubles.

"You shouldn't have ran away, in my opinion." I murmured as we walked along the pathway with my hands behind my neck.

"I d-didn't ask for your o-opinion." Hinata snapped back. I let out a brief chuckle and turned my gaze down on her.

"Are you happy without all of that, though?"

"V-very. If I would've s-stayed...." She trailed off but then looked up at me with her loving lavender eyes. "I wouldn't have met you."

A look of confusion crept onto my face but was quickly replaced by my flustered face. I turned away from her and looked up at the sky. I heard the blue haired beauty giggle slightly but we remained mostly silent.

"Oiiii!! Naruto! Hinata!" A loud mouth pinkette yelled by the poolside, waving her arm at us. "Took you long enough!" She smirked but turned away and leaned back into Sasuke's arms.

We arrived by the poolside and Hinata set her bag down by a lounge chair then sat on it. I took the chair next to her and slid off my shoes, the warmth of the pavement seeping into my skin.

I looked up at the group of my friends already here, but soon enough my eyesight traveled back to the Hyuga next to me. She fumbled with the tip of her indigo braid with a faint blush painted onto the apples of her cheeks.

"Let's swim?" I nudged her ankle with my toe. Her pale lavender eyes gazed over the glistening water with a floating Shino and swimming Lee in it. Shikamaru and Temari had gone to get sodas and Tenten and Tamaki were in the jacuzzi.

"O-okay..." The Hyuga mumbled while fumbling with the hem of her white t-shirt. I smiled and hopped up, discarding my own t-shirt in the process.

I glanced back at Hinata whose face turned completely red. I grabbed the sunscreen and applied it to my body to prevent any sunburn. Hinata grabbed the lotion and also applied it to her skin, going underneath her shirt so she wouldn't take it off.

"You two gonna swim?" Sakura piped up and smiled. I watched Sasuke get up behind her, making a shushing motion.

"Yup." I said clearly.

"We should too!" The Uchiha yelled and scooped up his pinkette girlfriend in his arms then proceed to walk to the pool. "S-Sasuke! Matte! N-!"

Then they both submerged under the cover of the water, Shino and Lee moving with the waves. I let out a chuckle as they both popped up from the water, Sakura gasping a bit. I heard Hinata giggle a bit and soon felt her presence behind me.

I smiled back at her and took her hand in my own. Hinata still wore her oversized t-shirt, not that I minded, much. We walked to the edge of the pool and I automatically jumped in.

Normal POV

Naruto enjoyed the cooling sensation of the water engulfing him, it soothed his hot skin from being in the sun. Hinata scrunched up her toes on the very edge of the pool. She loved swimming very much but what feared her most was the dream she had yesterday.
