Christmas had been great, along with the new year. The happiest I think ive ever felt. I was so happy when Remus turned around and confessed what was going on. It made things better, and even Snape was happy! For once.
Now it was back to school, well it had been about a week and it was going good. Just learning and more learning, as usual.
This girl was giving me dirty looks in potions, that was strange, I didn't even know who she was, or her friends. But I was used to people being mean, so it didn't bother me.
I was already thinking about my birthday (instead of potions) and I was excited to turn 13. I couldn't believe it had been a year since everything changed, but it was better for a change.
"Come on Poppy, add the next ingredient." I looked up and saw Regan staring at me.
"Oh, sorry." I smiled. "Who's that girl over there?" I muttered.
"Alysia White."
"She keeps glaring at me that's all. It's weird."
"Maybe she likes you." He laughed and got a glare from Snape.
"Yeh sure. Shall I ask?" I chuckled. Regan just grinned and sorted the potion out.
"Put them into containers and then clean your stations." Snape ordered. We did what we were told and then packed up our stuff. Ours looked just slightly less than the colour Snape wanted, so I don't think we did a bad job.
The next few hours went pretty quickly. Herbology was boring but fast, for once. We met everyone for some time in the library and Mad Eye disappeared again, like he always did when we went there.
Dumbledore had talked to me about possibly moving dorms, so that was exciting. Shame my friends were in Hufflepuff, well except Regan obviously.
"I hope they aren't mean to you if you move."
"They won't get chance to be mean. I'll put them in their place." I grinned. Jess smiled back and got up to grab a book on charms.
"Just ignore them anyway, you'll only get yourself in trouble." Arianne moaned. "Keep yourself to yourself."
"Yeh I know." I waved her off and carried on with my essay, due tomorrow and I had barely started it. "It's getting late, I'm going to head down to the dungeons."
"Okay. See you tomorrow." Arianne smiled. The others said the same and I got up, grabbed my stuff and left the library.
I usually enjoyed the walk down. It was nice to not have people around sometimes. Like how I used to enjoy being by myself.
"Oi." Someone shouted. I turned and saw the girls from potions and sighed. I really didn't want trouble anymore to be honest.
"What?" I sighed.
"We need a talk with you." 6 of them came out the shadows and crossed their arms.
"How old do you think you are?" I laughed. They looked pathetic.
"I wouldn't laugh little murderer." What?
"You better shut up now, little girl." I hissed. They just laughed at me and came closer.
"I don't think I will." The main girl grinned. "I think someone needs to actually show you where you belong, you shouldn't be here and no one wants you here."
"They do." I muttered. But maybe people didn't, of course there were some.
"I don't care what you say. Now back off." I turned and started walking away, why was I walking away? Oh well.
