The last few days had been ok. Remus had visited me everyday since and I had nearly forgotten about doomsday.
That doesn't sound right.
Oh yeh, I had nearly forgotten about the Welcoming Feast. It was tomorrow.
Anyway, so as usual I got up, got dressed and went to breakfast, Remus was there and I was happy, until Professor Dumbledore spoke about my doom.
"So Poppy, are you excited for tomorrow?" He asked me. I looked up at him and quickly back down again, realising I had bacon hanging out of my mouth.
I quickly swallowed it and then looked back up.
"Erm, not really Professor." I sighed and carried on. "I don't think I'll make any friends. They all know me from last year as some murderer. No one will like me." I almost whispered.
"That is not true Poppy, I am sure of it. Friends shall be no problem, do not be worried child. I shall simply introduce you. Although you will have to stay up at this table for a short while and we will see how things go." He dabbed his mouth with a cloth and then stood. "Such lovely breakfast once again, however I must be going. I shall see you tomorrow Poppy, do not be scared." He patted my shoulder and then disappeared out of a back door. Strange man.
"He is right Poppy." A voice spoke. I looked over at Remus and sighed.
"Yeh, but you have been telling me the same thing all week." I moaned. He had been saying 'don't be scared, it will be fine' most of the week and that was the only thing that stopped me from forgetting about it.
"Yes but it's true. Now finish your breakfast, then we can go and sort out your school stuff." He smiled. I then decided to eat my cereals really slowly just to annoy him. "Not helping Poppy."
I turned and gave him my innocent look.
"What? I'm just savouring the lovely flavour of my coco pops."
"Very funny. Come on, your not getting out of this." He stood up and walked behind me. Why?
"Oi! Get off my chair!" I found myself saying and Remus rudely pulled my chair away from the table. He just chuckled at me and then grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from the table. "Nooo! I didn't get to finish my chocolate milk!" I yelled. I made grabbing motions for my cereals but they didn't get any closer, and then I was out of the great hall.
I huffed and pulled my wrist from Remus' hand.
"I can walk myself thank you." I spoke and walked past him as I heard him laughing at me. I walked all the way back to the living quarters without talking to him and then he followed me into my room.
"Right." He clapped. "Let's get started then. First, I think we should send your uniform to the House Elves, so that they can iron it and stuff." He smiled. I just rolled my eyes at him and sat on the bed.
"Come on, can't we do something fun? I don't want to do silly school stuff."
"Too bad. Put all your books together please." I stood up and crossed my arms.
"What if I don't want to?" I smirked. He turned around and looked at me.
"Oh, you will. Or I'll have to make you." He spoke mock coldly.
"Fine. I don't want to." I huffed. He shrugged and started walking towards me.
"Fine, have it your way." Then he proceeded to tickle the hell out of me.
I was laughing so hard and I couldn't get him to stop. I could barely breath.
"S-stop! Hahaha, Remus! I can't b-breath."
