More time passed, Sirius stayed away, I sent him a couple of letters and he replied with some more. He'd watched a few of Potters quidditch practice sessions, which was stupid and not worth getting the kiss for.

My birthday came and went, I received some pretty cool gifts, my favourite was from Regan, it was a gold ring for my middle finger with blue stones. I also got some sweets, clothes and hair stuff from everyone else.

It was May now, the Quidditch final was today and we were making our way over to the pitch.

"I'm really looking forward to this." Regan grinned. Me and the girls weren't as interested so we dragged out feet all the way there.

"It's so boring." I moaned.

"It's not!" Corby spoke. "This is exciting. The two houses that hate each other so much."

"Yay, let's watch them kill each other."

"Haha, that's the fun of it though." I didn't see the fun but I went anyway. I sat in the Hufflepuff stands because there was more of our friends group in that house.

About 10 headlocks, 5 bat hits and loads of fouls later, Gryffindor were winning by quite a lot, thanks to Slytherins cheating.

In the end Potter caught the snitch and they won the cup, which Gryffindor went absolutely mad about. Their party was even worse than last time, up a lot later.

I left and went back to Snapes quarters by myself while everyone celebrated in the great hall at dinner. I sat on the sofa and thought about how calm the last 4 months had been, it was already early May. No one had bothered me and I was being allowed to move into the Gyrffindor dorms the next year, with no one to escort me to classes.

Atleast Mad Eye wasn't being so harsh now, he just ignored me instead, which I preferred. In the last 4 months I'd seen Mr Torchwood 4 times, because that's all I needed, he had helped loads and it was great to talk to him, but I didn't need to see him that much.

It was already close to the end of the year, the exams and the start of the next year, summer as well.

I ended up falling asleep on the sofa, getting shaken awake by Snape who told me to go to bed, and that I shouldn't fall asleep on the living room furniture, lying all over it. I just grinned at him and moved, wanting some sleep before the next days lessons.

"Done much revision yet Poppy?" Regan asked the next morning, we were sat in History of Magic.

"Not really. Have you?"

"Nope, I think we should start though."

"I guess." I rested my elbow on the desk and lifted my head up with my hand, listening to Professor Binns go on and on and on about Goblin wars, it was not fun at all.

"Reading from the books is more exciting than this, atleast it's got pictures."

"True." Regan laughed. "But this is a great lesson for other homework."

"I suppose." But I didn't bother to get any other homework out anyway. After that lesson we had mad eye clunk behind us all the way down to herbology.

"Today's lesson will involve Leaping Toadstools. They are tricky little mushrooms because they can jump around and make it very tough for you to catch them." Professor Sprout lectured. This was actually interesting, for the first time in weeks.

"Gather round one of the baskets, 5 to each please class." We all moved into groups, Regan glided into mine, Jess and Arianne floated over with Corby.
