So That's What Is Happening? I think

I sat in Snape's quarters, thinking, wondering. Who do I ask?

I was tempted to ask Snape, because he was the one who had to take me in, but then I thought Dumbledore might know more. I don't even know who's decision it was, but I needed to find out.

"Hey Snape." I grinned.

"Evening. Don't you have anything better to do?"

"Not really no. What are you doing next week?" He frowned at me for a moment and then scowled.

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because do you stay here all year being boring? Or do you actually have a home to go to?" He then walked straight past me and into the kitchen area, I swear I heard him huff a little.

"I have a home. But I don't always go there. However I have decided to for this summer."

"Oh nice. Anyway I'm going to Dumbledore." I jumped up off the sofa and started walking towards the door.

"Wait a moment." I turned and looked right into his black eyes.

"What?"

"You might not like what decision has been made."

"Well that's up to me to decide." I snapped slightly. I walked out the door and up into the front hall. There was a few people walking around.

"I can't wait to see my little brothers and my parents." One student spoke.

"My little doggy is going to be so happy to see me!" A first year squealed.

So basically everyone was talking about it. There was 5 days to go.

I scowled at a few people who went by and a couple got smiles. I can't be mean all the time can I?

By the time I had geared myself up to asking Dumbledore, I was at the office stairs. I looked up at the big stone Gargoyle and spoke another sweet name, so it opened up for me.

"Nerds."

I took one step at a time, pretty slowly, getting kind of scared about what he would say to me. It's got to be an Orphanage, especially with what Snape had said.

I grabbed the big Griffin door knocker and slammed it against the door, well it sounded louder to me probably.

The door slowly opened and revealed the large and great office of Albus Dumbledore. It was pretty cool.

"Good evening young Poppy."

"Hello headmaster." I smiled slightly.

"Take a seat." I shuffled forward and sat down awkwardly, I didn't know how to start.

"I know why you are here, or at least I can take a guess from Severus' patronus." I sighed in relief, maybe this would be easier than I thought.

I stared across the cluttered desk at the old man and he grinned at me as his eyes shone.

"Do not worry Poppy, the ministry has had no input in this, I have made sure of that. I believe my choice is the right one."

"What is your choice Professor Dumbledore?"

"Would you like me to show you?" My eyebrows creased in confusion, but he just stood up and motioned towards a cupboard. I stood up and followed.

The cupboard door opened and a large basin slid out, it shone brightly, with little bottles filled with white whispy vapour all around it.

"Let's take a look." He dipped his head in and I jumped back in shock when his body disappeared.

"Professor Dumbledore!" I ran forward and stared at the basin. I could see something moving around, like a scene or a memory.
