On It Goes

"The court here, find that you are..." My heart stopped. I hoped it was the right answer. I really really didn't want to go back to Azkaban.

"Not Guilty." I heard a few people cheer as a massive smile lit up my face. The shackles were released immediately and I saw Remus run up to give me a hug.

"You did so well Poppy."

"Thanks Remus. I'm so relieved."

"I can take you back to the school once it's fully overs" He gave me a smile as people calmed down and re took their seats. I stayed standing for a little bit.

"The Not Guilty verdict means you are free to leave this courtroom as you wish Miss Dustan. The court took into account that you had been targeted more than once by other students and the clear proof that you were innocent allowed them to make their decision. However this is an unofficial warning that you may not be so lucky next time, if this situation occurs once more. Do you understand?" Mr Crouch said. I nodded before I spoke, still smiling.

"I do sir, thank you." He smacked a small instrument on the desk and then told us we could leave. It was a bit of a blur after that. I saw the girls storm off first, and was ambushed by Regan and Jess.

"This is great! You can come back to Hogwarts now Poppy." Jess spoke first. Regan just had a stupid grin on his face.

"Yeh, I can't believe it." I mumbled.

"Come on, we should go." I was taken back to Hogwarts by Remus and Mr Torchwood came as well. Telling me that he was proud of me and that I hadn't wasted any of our progress, or something like that.

I got a few welcome backs from some students, mainly my friends who weren't there, Arianne and Corby.

"I'm so glad your back! It must have been horrible."

"It wasn't the best. I'm guessing I won't be coming to the dorms anytime soon now." I spoke. We were all sat in the living room of Snapes quarters.

"Probably not. But you will soon, I'm sure." Jess smiled. I hope she's right. I really wanted to.

"We better get going it's nearly curfew." Corby stood up and so did the girls.

"Alright. See you tomorrow."

"Nice to have you back Poppy. See you tomorrow." Jess said and Arianne said the same. That just left Regan.

"Hey, it really is great your back." He smiled. I smiled back and shook my head a little.

"I'm just too good. They wouldn't send me away again." I chuckled and Regan joined in.

"I'm gonna go too. But I'll see you tomorrow Poppy." His smile was infectious. I watched as he walked out and then looked up and saw Remus smiling.

"Someone got a crush?" He chuckled.

"Shut up." I mumbled.

So I found out Remus was giving Harry Potter private lessons. I thought I'd watch to see what all the fuss was about.

"Tonight Harry we just need to practice again, like last week, with the patronus. See if you can channel that energy and think positively. A proper memory."

Potter looked pretty determined. I watched from Remus' desk. He pulled open a large chest and then... I heard someone screaming.

"Poppy?" I looked up and realised I was on the floor, and I was the one screaming.

"Dementor!" I gasped. What the hell did he have one of them for?

"Don't worry." He chuckled. He helped me up and Potter was giving me weird looks, so I glared at him.
