Blayne's mind was in chaos, thinking about all the horrible things that could happen to Akira if she was out there alone. She hasn't gone through her transition yet, she couldn't shift and defend herself. And because it wasn't to far from her first shift, her body would be weaker. Now, he not only lost a dear friend but he may have very well lost his love.
Thomas returned not long after Blayne had calmed down. "Alpha, the trackers need something with her scent. I've gathered them in the den." Blayne nodded, stalking his way back to his office where he kept the only item he had of Akira's. Her scent was already engraved into Blayne's senses. Lilies and fresh forest. It was a beautiful combination, and he'd dreamed about it every night. Blayne grabbed the cloth and handed it off to Thomas, who turned and left his office.
Blayne looked out his window, "where are you mate?" He whispered. Suddenly someone burst through his office doors. "Alpha!" Blayne turned to see an omega of the pack standing there. "Someone's at the gates demanding to see you. Now." Blayne was about to scold the omega for his lack of respect when he suddenly bowed his head, "her words Alpha. That's what she'd said."
Blaynes attention immediately snapped up at, 'her.' He took a deep whiff and the smell of lilies and fresh forest filled his nose. Without explaining Blayne sped out of his office and out of the house yelling, "open the gates!"

Akira waited until everyone was asleep, and for the guards to change shifts before she ran for the surrounding trees. She knew where or at least the direction of the Night pack. Once she stepped off her territories land and onto no mans land she ran. She realized quickly that this would be so much easier if she could just shift. Four legs are better than two. She ran as far and as fast as she could, but soon she needed to take a small break, just to catch her breath.
Once she'd caught her breath, she began running again. She ran so far and fast that her legs began to turn to jelly and her lungs literally burned. Looking around, she found a tree that had a hollow cave. She climbed into it and looked out at the dark forest. "What will I do without you papa?" She asked to no one. She fought back the tears she felt threatening to fall. Rolling over, she closed her eyes and let exhaustion take hold of her.
Akira woke with a jolt, she heard a twig snap and now she looked out of the hollow tree stump prepared to either run or fight. She stayed still and quiet, waiting to see what would come out of the bushes. She nearly laughed when she seen a rabbit burst through the bushes. Instead she let out a sigh of relief, deciding it was time to get moving, she climbed out of the tree trunk and stretched. Her muscled ached, but she'd have to deal with them. She's had worse anyways.
She began her running again, this time only stopping when she found water. She began to worry when she didn't seem to get close to any packs. She was sure her father had told her North, yet how far was it? She began to wonder if she'd maybe passed it? She was sure her father said north so she continued north. As she ran, she got a whiff of a scent she was sure she knew. It took her only a moment to place the scent. Thomas! Akira ran with new found strength. Thomas's scent kept getting stronger and stronger. Finally, she broke through the thick forest tree's and seen a gate. She didn't hesitate to run up to them.
"I need to see Alpha Blayne!" Akira said to the gate keeper, he was older than her and most likely older than her father was-had been. Akira watched as the gate keeper took in her dirty appearance. "Who are you?" He demanded quite rudely.
Akira growled loudly, she didn't have time for this. "Get Blayne out here. NOW!" She yelled at him.
The gate keeper merely grunted, and sent someone else towards the house. Akira crossed her arms, looking over her shoulder. She worried that she wouldn't be let in in time, hopefully the Red pack wouldn't attack this close to another pack. But then that hadn't stopped Darrel from killing her father, she thought with despair.
Thankfully, Akira didn't have to wait long. She suddenly heard a voice yell to open the gates. Akira turned towards the voice and couldn't control the shock she felt. The man moving towards her was gorgeous. Tall, muscular, tanned. But it was his eyes that held her captive. With his black hair, tanned skin his blue eyes stood out almost as if they were the one's greeting her. Finally catching herself, she tore her eyes away from his body. She watched the gates open, and she didn't hesitate to run inside of them. Akira breathed a sigh of relief. For now, she was safe from Darrel.
As the man moved closer Akira could feel the power and authority radiating off of him in waves, but before she could think anything more of it he stopped in front of her.
"Akira." He nodded to who she didn't know, she stood frozen from the mere sound of his voice. "Are you hurt?" His sky blue eyes moved over her to of course look for obvious injury but it felt like his eyes left a trail of fire in their wake. Akira was startled by her reaction to this man but also her bodies reaction. She felt hot all over, and excited but she couldn't explain why.
Akira cleared the sudden lump from her throat, "I'm uninjured." Her answer seemed to satisfy him. "Are you okay?" He asked her gently. She wanted to scream that she wasn't but of course she couldn't do that.
