Akira tried to keep calm but the moment she began to speak she felt her fear spiking again, Blayne he has me! I don't know where I am- I'm so scared Blayne.
Calm down. I am tracking your scent. Thomas and some other's are with me and we're going to find you. Just hang on, don't give up Akira. Blayne said trying to reassure her. Do you smell anything around you? Blayne then asked.
Akira took a moment to calm down, then sniffed the air that she had. I think I may smell water, but I don't smell anything else. Wait- Akira sniffed again deeply and froze. He's coming! Akira felt her heart speed up when she could now hear the foot steps, and then seen and heard the door knob turning.
Blayne could sense and feel Akira's panic as if it were his own, he was sure it was his own. I'm coming Akira! Don't you give up! Blayne repeated but didn't get a response. Move faster! Blayne ordered through the link to his men.
Akira watched as Darrel walking into the room, a grin on his face as he looked at her. "I'm happy your awake. I'd hate for you to be unconscious for our mating." He said casually. Akira took a deep breath trying to fight off the rising bile.
Akira's body filled with anger, "I already have a mate! I-I wont mate you!" Akira almost wished she could take back the words when his eyes suddenly glistened with something scary, Akira was sure it was madness but what did she know. She'd never seen it before. As Darrel stood there he reminded Akira of a Demon, and Akira's met demon's before.
Akira glared up at him, hating how helpless she felt. Akira didn't know why he wanted her, but she wished Blayne would hurry up and come because she'd rather die than have to lay beneath this man.
Darrel laughed, then brought Akira a plate of food and a glass of water. "Drink, and eat. You'll need it." Akira didn't have time to refuse his 'offer' before he suddenly turned and left the room.
Akira stared at the food, refusing to touch it. For all she knew he'd put something in it to make Akira more compliant. Akira sat there in the silence wondering how close Blayne was to finding her. Her chest ached with the thought of Blayne. She knew that he'd betrayed her, but now she could very well die or worse get stuck being with Darrel and she'd never know if her and Blayne could have worked out. Akira sighed, shaking the depressing thoughts away. She wasn't going to sit here self-pitying herself. She'd have to figure out a way to get out of here on her own.
Akira lifted her chained arm and tried to pull her arm free, wishing that her wrist was just a bit smaller. She knew she wouldn't be able to break the metal but she pulled, and pulled. Her wrist started to bleed, but she didn't care about the pain. She didn't care that the small room suddenly filled with the scent of blood. She just wanted out of there. Akira looked at her hand, and for a brief and crazy moment she thought about biting her hand off.
Akira heard a tsk, tsk behind her and turned sharply to see Darrel standing in the door with his arms crossed. "You've hurt yourself." He accused, glaring at the bleeding wrist.
Akira didn't reply, she watched him as he began to move closer to her. Akira flinched back when he reached out and grabbed her injured arm, unchaining her. Akira didn't think after that but simply reacted out of instinct.
Once her arm was free of the chain, Akira swung with all of her strength, punching Darrel in the face. Darrel stood there motionless for a moment. Did Akira's punch help? No. Did she even move from her spot on the bed? No. Did she manage to piss him off? Most definitely.
