"O-okay then. Blayne." She cursed herself silently for stuttering. But when she looked up into Blayne's eyes she watched his eyes fill with amusement, which kind of irritated her. "Is there anything else Blayne?" Akira raised a brow, swearing she saw Blayne's lip twitch, but he didn't comment.
"Be down in 15 minutes." He walked towards the door, and Akira's eyes seemed to have a mind of their own as they slid down to his perfectly rounded arse. When he suddenly stopped, and turned around her eyes snapped up to his face which held an arrogant smirk. "By the way, you look good in my shirt." And with that he left the room, and Akira with her mouth hanging open in shock.
After Akira finally raked her fingers through her hair, she decided that, that was as good as it was going to get. She dressed in the skinny jeans, and more fitting t-shirt that Edna had brought her and walked out of the room. She walked for about 10 minutes simply trying to figure out where the kitchen was. If only she could find the damn stairs, she growled to herself.
She suddenly heard footsteps behind her, and spun around nearly throwing herself into Thomas's arms. "Wooow there cujo." Thomas teased, holding his hands up in surrender.
"Thomas!" Akira sighed in relief. "Please help me find the dinning room, I can't remember where it is. I've been walking and walking but I can't even seem to find my way out of these maze hallways." Akira explained, exasperated.
Thomas chuckled, "com'on. I'll show ya the way." He turned, and Akira followed him gladly. He was taking lefts and rights and she already felt like she was turned around yet again. But thankfully when she seen the stairs she thanked the goddess. They both walked down the stairs where Blayne was waiting, looking irritated.
Akira was caught up looking at Blaynes irritated face, that she wasn't paying much attention to the steps she was taking. Misjudging the last step she slipped, she'd closed her eyes and just waited for her body to explode in pain. But, it never came. Instead her body erupted into tingles. Cautiously she opened her eyes. When they were fully open she looked up, curious to know what was so warm against her. Her face was only inches away from his face. His jaw was clenched tightly, and Akira imagined he was even more irritated now that he had to catch her from falling.
Akira tried to tug her arm away from him, and move out of his hold but he held her firmly in his arms. When he tightened his hold, she felt her body erupt in the same tingles but this time it seemed like electricity now. Her body warmed, and so did her blood. His closeness was doing something to her and these tingly electric charges weren't helping.
Akira tried to tug again, but her traitorous body leaned closer, seeking more warmth that seemed to only come from Blayne, as she watched his face his blue eyes which earlier had seemed like a sky blue now looked like a midnight sky, she gasped again when she felt his palm press and almost engulf her lower back.
Suddenly he pulled away, causing Akira to stumble slightly. Akira noticed the instant coldness without his heat and she shivered involuntarily. He cleared his thought, "come your late. Its time to eat." His face was back to unemotional.
Akira watched him turn and move towards the kitchen, she looked at Thomas who's face was just as emotionless. He shrugged and also moved into the kitchen, leaving her standing there.
These men were going to give her whiplash, she thought as she moved to follow them into the kitchen.
Akira shook her head as she walked into the kitchen and seen Blayne and Thomas deep in conversation, about what? She didn't know. She tried her best not to listen. She ate quickly, and left the room. She just wanted to return to her room for a moment to get a breather, to get her emotions in check.
Akira left the kitchen, not surprised that neither men seemed to notice her absence. She at least remembered how to get back to her temporary room.
Thank goddess. She walked up the stairs and she noticed that two women who were obviously from this pack stood there staring at her. The brunette was the one who stood out more than the other, so Akira looked at her in question. Neither of the women said anything, so she continued on her way. "Excuse me." Akira said politely as she tried to pass.
The brunette who had stood out to Akira moved in her way, preventing her from going forward. Akira looked up at her, confused. "You would be wise to keep your hands to yourself, and your legs closed while your here." The brunette sneered.
Akira's eyes widened in shock, but the shock was quickly followed by anger. Before Akira could even say anything the brunette decided that more needed to be said. "Alpha Blayne is off limits to you whore. Besides, you have a much better chance of sticking to your own pack." She seemed to think what she'd said was funny since she laughed.
Akira was fuming, not only did she watch her father get murdered, have to run a great distance without assistance of a wolf, and was now being held here by said Alpha but now she had to deal with the pack sluts. Every pack had them, and Akira wasn't at all surprised that the Night Pack did as well. When the brunette moved forward a step, Akira's control snapped. Sure, she seemed all sweet and docile but she was an Alpha and she would be respected.
Akira growled, "I don't know who you are, nor do I care. Blayne is his own person, and if he's been sleeping with you have at it. But, I highly doubt that I'm the whore in this equation." Akira was now face to face with the offending woman. She wouldn't take her eyes off her, because women like her weren't honorable. They'd attack the moment the opponent was distracted.
The brunette growled back, but then her gaze snapped up to something, or someone behind Akira. But, Akira's gaze still never left the woman's. "What are you doing Vivian?" Akira heard Thomas ask, not to happily.
The woman that Akira now knew as Vivian, stuttered. "I-I was just welcoming the new guest."
Thomas moved forward and stood beside Akira. Akira knew that Thomas would protect her if it came down to it so she turned to look at Thomas. He was glaring hard at Vivian. "That's what I thought." Thomas leaned closer to Vivian, his expression was murderous and if Akira didn't have Alpha blood she was sure she'd be afraid of such a expression aimed at herself. "I'd hate to see what happens if Alpha Blayne finds out how you've slandered his guests name, hmm?" Thomas smiled coldly as Vivian's blood drained from her face, and she retreated with her friend.
"Thank you Thomas. But I could have handled the situation." Akira said calmly.
Thomas chuckled, "of course little wolf, but that slinky of a snake will not back down unless Blay interferes, so be prepared for more from her." He warned, and Akira nodded. She'd seen the look in Vivian's eyes, she believed that Blayne was hers and if Vivian thought she was a threat to that title she would attack Akira again. Whether it would be name calling and threats or a physical attack Akira wasn't sure.
