Darrel turned, and grabbed Akira by the throat while slapping her with his free hand. Akira gasped but otherwise kept her mouth shut, she didn't want to give him the satisfaction. Darrel dropped Akira to the floor, and Akira just managed to see his foot coming towards her before the air left her lungs with the force of his kick.

Akira was kicked repeatedly in the ribs. She'd done what she could to protect herself, but there wasn't much she could do in her position.

After about the fifth kick, Akira's body became numb. Akira opened her eyes slowly after she didn't feel anything more, looking up towards Darrel who stared down at her. "Let this be a warning to you Akira. I'm your Alpha, and I will not tolerate disrespect."

Akira wanted to deny him being her Alpha but darkness claimed her.

Akira woke slowly, very aware of the sharp pains she felt each and every time she breathed. Akira bit her lower lip, keeping in her cries of pains. She turned her head slowly, looking around. Akira stopped when she noticed a woman standing in the corner, moving back and forth between counters. Akira watched the woman turn and begin to move towards her, there was no way that she'd be able to pretend to be asleep now.

When the woman's eyes met Akira's, Akira whispered harshly. "W-who are you?" Akira cringed at her own voice, but didn't remove her eyes from the woman.

The woman just stared for a moment, before turning to the water and then handing it to Akira. Akira didn't want to accept anything from these people but her throat hurt and she needed the water so she accepted it and drank the contents quickly.

The woman whispered almost inaudibly, "I'm Sophie." she paused, looking at Akira with sympathy. "I'd give you something for the pain but- the Alpha ordered me not to. T-this is your punishment."

Akira kept quiet for a moment, then nodded. "Thank you for the water." Akira said, happy that she sounded much better. She only wished she could say the same about her ribs, breathing hurt, and every movement felt like she was stabbing herself. Akira watched the woman leave the room quietly, her thoughtful expression turning into a glare full of hate when she seen Darrel walk into the room smiling.

"Ahh your awake. How are you feeling?" Darrel asked in a sickly sweet voice. When Akira didn't answer, Darrel moved to the side of the bed, and touched her bruised cheek, causing Akira to flinch away in pain.

Akira watched him smile, and she felt so much fury rush through her blood. This man had ruined everything for her, he took away her father and has chased her around, kidnapped her and beat her expecting to mate with her. Akira watched as Darrel sighed. Akira has never wanted to hurt someone or even kill anyone as badly as she did this man- no he wasn't a man he was a monster.

"I'll be out tonight so I won't be able to see you until morning. Seems your mate is too close so we're going to make him lose his trail. When I return we'll mate." Darrel said in a matter of fact tone.

Akira's eyes widened, as she watched Darrel walk out of the room.

Blayne? Blayne can you hear me? Oh please if you can hear me, Darrel says your close. He's going out to try and get you off our trail. Akira waited, praying, hoping to hear anything.

So good to hear you baby! Blayne said happily. We'll be sure to watch for the others.

Akira debated with herself over what to say but in the end she didn't want to regret anything if she died or never seen him again. I miss you. Akira said pathetically. Akira knew he would hear the pain in her voice, but she'd never tell him, it would only cause him to worry more than he needed too.

Akira are you okay? Blayne asked not liking the pain he'd heard. You- you don't sound so good. Blayne said concerned. What did that bastard Darrel do to her? Blayne became enraged at the thought of Darrel touching her.

Akira laughed softly, ignoring the pain it caused because she didn't want Blayne to know. I'm fine. I just want to leave.

You hang in there Akira, I'm coming. Blayne said through the link. Akira didn't reply, she looked around the room and thought about all the ways she could escape. She had sat there for hours just thinking about it when her skin suddenly felt hot and she was covered in sweat. Her body ached like nothing she's ever experienced before. She couldn't even move a muscle for fear the pain would become to unbearable. Akira was scared, she didn't understand what was happening to her. Her vision blurred and she begged to stay awake but her body gave out and darkness claimed her again.

Akira woke slowly, the pain that she assumed made her passed out seemed to still be there. She had prayed before she passed out that after a rest it would go away or at least become more bearable but it didn't if anything she felt worse, she felt uncomfortable in her own skin and she could feel the sticky sweatiness coating her skin. Akira closed her eyes, trying to will the pain away or at least to dim it but then her ears perked at the sudden sounds of foot steps. Akira swallowed the lump that formed in her throat. She didn't want to deal with this right now, not yet.
