Akira didn't bother waiting around as she ran out the front door of the pack house, she didn't even realize she had run out of the pack territory until she noticed the difference in scent. Akira kept running, not wanting to stop. She just wanted to get to Day pack and forget all about Blayne. Akira ran until she couldn't anymore. When she decided to stop, she sat beside a tree angrily swiping away the tears that fell without permission.
How could he? Akira thought, He said he'd always be with her that she'd never be alone again. What did that even mean? Did he mean that he'd be with her but with other women also? He had lied about everything he'd told her and Akira didn't know what to think about it.
She wouldn't stand for having to share her mate. And Blayne was the biggest asshole if he thought she would.
Akira closed her eyes, but couldn't rid herself of the images of Vivian and Blayne kissing. Her eyes suddenly snapped open when she heard the familiar sound of a twig breaking. Akira stood slowly, smelling for any scents yet thanks to all her crying she couldn't scent anything. Akira waited, looking around the darkness, her hair standing on end. "Blayne?" She called timidly.
Akira froze, her eyes widening when she watched Darrel come out of the darkness slightly crouched. Akira took a step back, bumping into the tree. "W-what are you doing here?" Akira asked quietly.
Darrel didn't reply, but Akira watched as a smirk formed on his face and his eyes shined with triumph. She felt her heart beat wildly, and felt her stomach drop with fear as Darrel moved forward. "Stay away!" Akira shouted, hoping and praying that she could think of a way out, anything that could help her. Darrel ignored her and Akira decided the best she could do was run.
She turned and ran, knowing that she wouldn't be able to out run him but she couldn't just stand there.
Akira could hear his bone's breaking and cracking as he shifted. Her heart beating even harder as he just barked, as if letting her know that no matter how hard or fast she ran she wouldn't escape and that made Akira's fear spike even higher. Tears sprang to Akira's eyes as she let it sink it. Darrel was playing with her, and he was letting her know it. Akira could hear him behind her, and she suddenly fell. She put her arms out in front of her to catch herself but suddenly screamed as pain shot up her arm, she turned and stared right into the face of Darrels wolf.
Darrels wolf snapped at Akira, but never once bit or even nipped her. It was as if he was just warning her not to move. Akira froze, not moving. She didn't want to get attacked, or worse torn apart by teeth. She could see all the ways to go but that had to be the worst one. Darrel shifted back and Akira looked away from his nudity, trying to swallow the sudden bile that rose in her throat. "You run fast sweetness. But I'm faster." Darrel stated.
"What do you want?!" Akira hissed, her voice doused with hatred, disgusted and uncontrolled rage.
Darrel chuckled, "you of course. And now I have you." Darrel sighed dramatically, "you best learn to obey me because before this is done you'll be mine."
Akira shook her head in denial. "No I wont. I'm no one's!" Akira growled.
Darrel tsked, "really? I see a mark on your neck, smell the mixed scents. What? Your mate didn't care for you? He throw you out?" Darrel shot off.
Akira's lips thinned into a hard line as she glared up at Darrel, but Darrel ignored her look and chuckled again.
"I see." He shrugged. "Let's go then." Darrel grabbed Akira's arm and out of instinct Akira bit him, she immediately tasted his blood and heard Darrel roar in pain. He let go of her arm.
Akira hit the ground with a thump, her arm exploding in pain which made her gasp. Darrel moved forward again, his face a mask of fury. "You bitch! I was trying to be gentle but I'll have to teach you that you best behave."
Akira seen Darrel pull his arm back but wasn't prepared for the pain. She cried out when his fist connected with her jaw. Akira closed her eyes for a moment trying to see straight but it didn't seem to help. Akira tried her best to glare at him, but the last thing she remembers is seeing Darrel lick his wound before darkness claimed her.
Blayne followed Akira's scent towards the woods, his panic becoming even more noticeable. He quickly linked his trackers and fighters. Blayne only waited a few moments before the group arrived and they set out to find his mate and their Luna. Blayne prayed that Akira was okay and that they'd find her before something happened. Blayne had tried several times to connect with her through the link and their bond.
Akira? Blayne waited, but nothing.
Akira can you hear me? Again nothing.
Blayne was concerned that she didn't reply when he heard Thomas shout for him. As he walked towards Thomas, Blayne feared he was going to find Akira's body but thankfully when he got closer he just seen an empty area. When Blayne got close enough, Thomas pointed to the ground. Blayne examined the ground, seeing human then wolf prints. Marks against the dirt suggested that someone may have fell and the wolf had possibly attacked. Blayne took a deep breath and froze, he looked to the ground closer and seen a spot of blood. The blood drained from his face.
"It's Akira's- he's got her." Blayne whispered, but Thomas heard his body going stiff. Blayne felt sick, his beautiful mate was not only alone but she was now with the male who'd killed her father. "Track them! I want this forest torn apart!" Blayne shouted, and his men scattered.
Thomas stayed behind to watch his Alpha's back, but Blayne couldn't even open his mouth to thank him. He couldn't- if he did he feared the tears he felt would fall and he can't have that. So instead, Blayne shifted into his large black wolf and sniffed his mate's scent again. Her scent had grown stronger in his wolf form and he hoped that he would be able to track her before it was too late.
Akira woke slowly, her whole body ached but her arm surprisingly didn't hurt as bad as Akira imagined it would. She looked around the room, trying to stand but she couldn't move her arm.
She looked down and noticed the silver cuff around her wrist and glared at it. Akira looked around the room better, noticing that it was small but rather empty. What made Akira fear the room even more was the fact that it just had her chained to the bed. There were no window's and Akira couldn't tell if maybe this was some sort of building or basement?
Akira wished for her mate but then fought back tears as she remembered why she had run to begin with. She didn't know if Blayne was even looking for her or if he was to busy messing with that- Akira couldn't even finish her thought she needed to at least try.
Blayne? Akira asked through the link, hoping it still worked.
Blayne? She said more forceful.
Baby? Blayne's voice sliced through Akira's mind, making her feel relieved. Akira noticed that his voice had sounded desperate, a bit panicked but also relieved.
