Hello! Thank you for stumbling across my piece :)) This is a OC character insertion to the marauders life, I hope you like it! Would love if you'd like/ comment if you do... ;)

It will change POV every so often as well!

Enjoy!

Rubbing my eyes, I put down my book. The page lying across the carpet was torn and bent at the edges from overuse, a small droplet stain lay in the corner from spilt coffee. I was just reading my favourite part, the flashbacks to the Marauders time in the Order of the Pheonix. Yawning, my eyes flicked to the alarm clock on the bedside table: 6.30 am. I groaned, knowing I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, and got up, standing on the litter of books and clothes which covered the floor.

My back cracked loudly as I stretched it out and flexed my feet, making my way to the light switch in an attempt to wake myself up a bit better. It was bright enough to make me shield my eyes and groan again. I heard movement in the room next to me and froze, holding my breath, praying for no one to wake up.

Thankfully silence returned to the house and I let out a soft sigh, creeping over to the wardrobe and grabbing out some clothes, slipping into them. I moved over to the mirror to fix whatever my hair had turned into during the night.

I pulled out my extremely messy bun and attempted to brush it when the mirror fogged up, steaming over as if I was having a shower.

What the fuck, I thought, trying to ignore the feeling like this was the start of a horror movie. I took in a breath and moved closer so I could wipe my hand across the surface of the mirror. However, before I reached the glass, I saw a sudden movement made me jump backwards.

I stared at it. The steam across the mirror was clearing as if... as if it was being wiped down from the inside out. This is it, this is how I die.

I grimaced but still moved closer, watching the mirror becoming transparent again. And then I had to hold back a scream.

Wiping down the mirror was a large hand. From the other side.

I woke up suddenly, frustration creeping in as I tried to remember the dream I was having. I had been watching someone, from afar, she was smiling giddily at someone else. Irolled over and tried to remember what she looked like, who she was, but it had already slipped away.

Sighing instead, I got up and looked around the bedroom. It was slightly eerie in the pitch black dorm. I blinked a few times to let in the light of the moon and moved towards the bathroom.

The lamp in the bathroom was blinding and I blinked mercilessly as I adjusted. I turned to the mirror and stared at myself momentarily, wiping the sleep and bulk of black hair out of my face.

Slowly, my image faded and fogged, as if the mirror was fogging up in the cool morning air.

Merlin's beard, I thought irritably, quickly wiping my hand down the mirror.

I blinked a few times once it was cleared, the image was still blurred in the mirror and didn't quite look... right. I mean, generally, you can tell when you see your own reflection in the mirror can't you? Narrowing my eyes, I turned the main light on and stared back at the mirror.

I almost failed to hold back a yelp of surprise.

There was a...girl, staring back at me with the same look of shock on her face that I'm sure I had on mine. I looked closer at her.
