~SIRIUS~
The common room was almost empty, leaving a few seventh years, Nick and Seri. Well and me.
Seri had taken the liberty of getting me to help with her mountainous homework that needed to be done to complete her sixth year.
"Properties of moonstone and it's uses" Seri muttered, laughing slightly, "where have I heard that before" she rolled her eyes and moved her head slightly on my shoulder. So I'm thinking my girlfriend has gone crazy.
No! Not girlfriend. That's not right. Slip of the tongue- mind. She's just my... Date? Lover? I chuckled to myself. I could see Seri using me as a punching bag if I told her the last one.
"You right there?" she raised an eyebrow at me and lifted her head slightly to get a good look at me.
Great, now she thought I was mental.
"Yeah yeah, go back to your precious moonstones" I wrapped an arm around her and she rested her head back on my shoulder. She continued to write as I played with her hair which was cascading down her back.
It was almost past midnight when she finished, collapsing onto me as I jumped slightly.
"Falling asleep?" she whispered close to my ear.
"Yup" I murmured, entwining our hands together. It's funny how many girls I have done this with but this was the first time it felt natural. Like I didn't have to make an effort around her.
Seri stared at our hands for a moment before smiling and leant in to kiss me on the cheek. I turned my head at the last moment and kissed her roughly on the lips. She was taken aback before melting into the kiss, wrapping her spare hand around my neck before pulling away suddenly, as if something had jabbed her.
"What?" I asked, concerned and she laughed.
"Awww worried about me?" she taunted and I rolled my eyes.
"Of course sweetie" I whispered in her ear, chuckling as she shivered slightly, "Why did you pull away?"
"Well" she reached into her pocket, "This little bitch chose that time to set on fire"
She showed me her rock-clue thing, which was now glowing bright red in her hand.
"Right" I tried to comprehend what this meant, "What is it supposed to do?"
"I dunno.." she murmured, furrowing her brow in concentration. I laughed as I realised it reminded me of when we first met. That would be a story to tell the kids.
No kids. I didn't just think that. My god, there is something wrong with me.
"I'm not sure how- are you ok?" Seri's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Awww whose concerned now?"
"Fuck off"
"Tut tut, bad language little Seri"
I swear, if looks could kill I would be having a seizure and frothing at the mouth right about now.
"Anyway" she shot me another glare before continuing, "I think I know something that could work"
"Work for what?" but she was already leaning down towards the rock before pressing her lips lightly onto it.
"I'm sure the rock loves that but it's just going to get hurt" I said as seriously as possible whilst she sighed and stuck her tongue out at me.
"I thought that really might work" she bit her lip and spun the rock in her hands.
"Come on, you need to get some sleep, maybe you'll think of something in the morning"
