I felt myself being thrown across the room, my stomach burning from the spell.

I felt like it was all happening in slow-motion. Whilst being lifted up into the air, I saw the whole crowd stop cheering and stare at me with the same expression James and Sirius had on their face.

And then I felt myself fall.

The ground came speeding towards me as I tried to get into the best position for me to not break anything important when an inch before the ground hit my arms, I stopped, mid-air.

I hovered for a moment before hitting the ground softly.  I looked around the room for my saviour, but I could only see the faces of everyone staring back at me, cold expressions plastered onto my face.

I turned back to face James and Sirius, both with the same expression and wands pointing directly at me.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash to my left making everyone turn to face the sound and giving me a chance to move away from what used to be my friends.

I only turned when I saw in the corner of my eye, someone running towards me. I snatched up my wand from where it was lying on the floor and pointed it at my newest enemy.

It was Peter.

"I'm here to help!" He said, arms raised in surrender, staring at me with a hardened expression.

If I hadn't been in such a screwed up situation I would have laughed at his expression. He looked actually brave.

Actually scratch that, I burst out laughing. I don't know if everything had suddenly become overwhelming and I was having a breakdown or if I was lightheaded from being thrown across the room, but seeing Peter made me realise what was happening.

I stared at everyone in front of me. Everything was backwards. Sirius and James were enemies, Peter was helping me, and if I looked closer into the crowd I am sure I would see Remus and Lily either cowering or staring at me with hatred.

And then everything happened in a blur.

A red light came streaming towards me as Peter swished his wand, creating a shield between me and the spell. Peter shot a spell back to them and it hit James square in the face. He collapsed and I automatically tried to see if he was ok, but I was stopped by Peter.

"Let me go!" I screeched, trying to get free of his iron hold on my waist. He said nothing but refused to release me.

I looked up to see Sirius walking closer to me. I wanted to lower my wand but I had to force myself to keep my guard up.

It's not real it's not real it's not real I chanted to myself softly, my eyes trained on Sirius as he stopped a few inches clear of my wand.

"You were never good enough" he said coldly. It was such a simple phrase but it hurt like hell.

I knew that there was none of my Sirius left in his face, just an empty shell, but just hearing him, seeing him say that, gave me doubt.

"You are just another one-I open at the close- of my games"

I blinked. What did he just say? I open at the close? I knew that reference- of course I did, it was programmed into my brain since reading it.

But why would he say that? Even if this was a projection of my mind, in a dream he wouldn't have interrupted himself. In a dream he would have continued to talk.
