Waking up in the wrong bed

I walked into the Great hall in some sort of trance.

I stopped, watching the judges give out scores but hardly noticing when the cheers grew and faded around me and the other champions. 5 people herdled towards me and enveloping me in some sort of hug that I could no longer describe as a bear hug but a potential kill attempt.

All these things happened in quick succession, but I didn't give it a second thought. My mind was in over-drive.

What did he mean by that? Does he like me more then a friend? He couldn't. He must mean like a sister or something. Man that would be a slap in the face. Speaking of which, I haven't slapped anyone for a while. Maybe I should slap Peter? You know, in advance for all the bullshit he is going to cause. Haha, That would be beyond hilarious. Imagine his face! Ha ha ha... oh god, what was I mentally debating about to myself again?

The next thing I knew I was upstairs again, getting pushed into the common room and into a seat and the cheering started up again. A drink was being shoved into my hand and then I was drinking it without much thought, a slight burning tingling my throat. When was the last time I had a drink? I couldn't remember, or perhaps I didn't want to remember. I looked up momentarily and saw Sirius and James arms out against the fireplace, two girls curled up beside them. I suppose another drink wouldn't hurt.

Suddenly I was conscious again, rolling over in bed. Thank fuck I got back. I groaned, pushing my hair off my face and curling into a ball to try and tame the nausea building in my head. What day is it? Can I just stay in bed all day?  I turned, trying to get comfortable-- but hit something.

My back was met by two arms pushing me over, as not to crush whoever was behind me. I turned quickly to face whoever it was and took a sharp intake of breath, covering my mouth when I recognized the half-naked, wide-eyed guy in front of me.

I was in the bed belonging to Remus Lupin.

~oo~

He stared right back at me, eyes just as wide, completely frozen in his position of arms out in front of his chest as my heart starting beating in my throat. I quickly rolled over and stood up in front of the bed, stumbling slightly as the dizziness hit me, and slowly turned back to face him as he covered his legs with a sheet and sat up.

"Well. Good morning" I greeted him, nodding my head as he raised an eyebrow and laughed nervously.

"Yeah, a great one isn't it" He pushed his hair back off his face and we went back to staring at each other. We were both quiet for a few minutes before the silence became too uncomfortable.

"Well I can't remember a thing about last night" I stated, sitting down again, and Rem nodded. I need asprin, dear god.

"Yeah me neither" He replied, seemingly relieved and the silence returned. I started fidgeting with my hair and looked around the dorm. Everyone else was still asleep and I looked around vaguely. I was in no real mood to wake them up. There was silence for a beat and then

"We wouldn't have done.....anything, right?" Rem sounded like he was trying to convince himself. How the hell was I supposed to know?

He looked up at me expectantly and I covered my hands with my eyes.

"What?" He said, looking suddenly concerned.

"You're supposed to be the responsible one!" I said, exasperatedly.

"Well neither of us should have been drinking" He snapped and I shrunk back slightly. I had actually never heard him this annoyed before. His face softened, "I was just caught up in the celebrations like everyone else- good win by the way"
