Thank you so so much to everyone who is commenting and voting and reading, thank you thank you! Thank you for putting up with my terrible updating skills and my possibly even worse chapters, thank you! I can't say it enough to show you how much it means to me.

If you guys are suddenly confused when reading this, you are not reading the first chapter again, don't worry :) Enjoy!

Rubbing my eyes, I put down my Harry Potter book for about the 26th time this week. I had just been reading my favourite part, the flashbacks to the marauders time. I checked the time, it was 6.30am, and knowing I would not be able to fall back asleep, I got up and picked out some clothes to get dressed.

My back cracked loudly as I stretched it out and flexed my feet before making my way to the light switch in an attempt to wake myself up. My one bulb, which hung from a string of wires, was bright enough to make me shield my eyes and groan again. I heard movement in the room next to me and froze, holding my breath anxiously, praying for no one to wake up.

Thankfully only still silence filled the house and I let out a soft sigh, creeping over to my wardrobe and grabbing out some clothes before slipping into them quickly. I moved over to the mirror to fix whatever my hair had turned into during the night.

I pulled out my extremely messy bun and attempted to brush it when my mirror fogged up.

'What the fuck' I thought to myself, wondering how that was even possible, moving to wipe my hand across the mirror and cleaning it until my reflection stared back at me once again.

I woke up suddenly, annoyed to having been drawn away from a good dream. I rolled over and tried to get back to sleep, before realizing that it wasn't going to happen. I got up and looked around.   It was slightly eerie in the dorm in the pitch black, in silence. I walked over to the bathroom, yawning, and cracking my neck.

The lamp in the bathroom was blinding and I blinked mercilessly until my sight was returned. I turned to the mirror to make sure I didn't look like a complete douche, when the mirror fogged up.

'Merlin's beard' I thought irritably, and quickly started to wipe my hand down the mirror.

I blinked a few times once it was cleared, the image was still blurred in the mirror and didn't quite look... right. I mean, generally you can tell when you see your own reflection in the mirror can't you? Narrowing my eyes, I turned the main light on and stared back at the mirror, only to watch myself looking curiously towards the glass.

I knew what I was doing, hoping to see dark blue eyes stare back at me, but all that stared back were my grey ones, looking more exhausted then I would have ever thought possible. I turned off the light once more.

Moving around the house lethargically, I made my way towards the kitchen, pulling out some milk and cereal to chew softly whilst attempting to find things around the house and not wake anyone up with creaking floorboards. The cereal crunched loudly in my mouth, making me cringe each time I took a bite and ensure that I was still alone. My books were strewn across the coffee table from homework the night before, calculator stuck underneath the couch I had thrown it under after getting overly frustrated with geometry.
