Chapter 26: Not all Fairy Tales Are Happy.

August 5th 2017

Phil's POV

My leg couldn't stop bouncing up and down as I sat down the train with my suitcase heading back to my parents house because my dad texted saying my mum was ill.

I get worried about my mum easily, mainly because our family are now to pass down genetic diseases and I always worry when my dad, mum or even Martyn are sick. It may sound stupid but........these things are unexpected. 

I left Dan alone in the apartment and I've tried calling him but for some reason he wasn't answering. I shrugged it off as I got to my stop dragging my suitcase behind me.

I was stopped by a couple of fans who were insanely sweet and kind and offered to take some pictures which they obliged to do so and I continued heading to my parents house.

I walked along my driveway and knocked on the door and Martyn answered and he looked tired and droopy.  

"Hey Phil." Martyn said tiredly as he pulled me into a hug.
"Hey, how's mum? Geez Martyn, you look terrible!" I stated and he chuckled.

"Yeah I know. I've been busy lately so I haven't gotten much sleep. Mums getting there, come in." He said opening the door as I put my suitcase in the hallway as me and Martyn walked up the stairs to my parents room were my dad was giving my mum a cup of tea and her eyes widened when she saw me.

"Philip love. I'm surprised your here. It's good to see you sweetie but. Why have you......" She asked and my dad butted in.

"I told Phil you were ill, darling and he wanted to come round." My dad said and my mum rolled her eyes and huffed.

"David! You make it sound like I'm dying I just have a simple cold." She said and Martyn chuckled slightly and I nudged his shoulder and he instantly shut up.

"Oh Katherine you know how it is. Be happy that the boys are here." My dad said taking her hand and my mum smiled.

"You're right. I'm sorry, just a bit tired and run down. Phil, let's go down stairs and you can tell us what you've been up to." My mum said getting out of bed as she put her slippers on and we trailed down the stairs.

"So Phil, how's touring going?" My dad asked and I nodded.

"Really well. We've come back from the other side of the world which was pretty cool and it was so nice to meet the different fans me and Dan have." I said smiled and Martyn patted my shoulder as a congratulations and he grinned at me and my mum chimed in.

"Speaking of Dan. How is he and his lovely girlfriend?" My mum asked as I took a sip of my drink.

"He's good and Jess is really good too, I can see the strong connection that they have. They defiantly love each other." I told her truthfully.

It was the truth. Dan and Jess had a strong connection together. Almost, sparks if you like.
It is clear that they love each other from the way they stare into each other's eyes it's almost as if they feel that their in a different world. It was amazing.

My parents looked at each other and my mum smiled at me.

"That's good. Darling, do you think maybe it's time you settle down and find a girlfriend?" My mum asked and I gave her a confused look but sighed.
