Elijah slid away from the party as soon as Klaus started to run his loud mouth. I'm surprised your men can actually bare their fangs, it seems as if they're always kissing your arse.
Elijah cringed at the words being said, but it was doing a hell of a good job. As soon as he got to the corridor, he checked for any other signs of civilisation and then he raised his mask and left it on his head.
Third door down. Elijah counted the doors and stood just before the door he knew to be the one spoken about. His head turned again to check if everything was still clear. Of course, with the luck of the Mikaelson's, it wasn't.
Another vampire had been walking down the corridor after Elijah, tailing him to see where he went. No doubt about it, to feed back to Tristan.
"You aren't that stupid" Elijah sighed, not wanting to be bothered with petty fights like this. He stood back and allowed the vampire to approach him.
"You shouldn't be around these parts" the other grunted, not realising that those would be his last words on the planet. Elijah swiftly grasped the neck of the vampire and snapped it.
"I shouldn't, you're correct" he said, allowing the vampire to fall down. Shortly after, with one forceful kick, Elijah knocked the door flying off its hinges and onto the floor with a great thud.
The girl sat upright on the edge of the bed, in the midst of changing her bloody bandage for a cleaner one. There was one split second where they both locked gazes, her face set to her default, unimpressed look. But the door was off its hinges and she could see a clear escape.
Hoping that this vampire's reflexes was slower, Willow darted from her bed and out of the room, leaving her bandage to roll out.
Elijah caught her before she could turn and get down the corridor. She was kicking and screaming, drawing attention to anyone who would hear. "Sh" he said, covering her mouth "I'm here to get you out of here"
After a few seconds, she cooled down, the kicking stopped and the wriggling stopped as she realised that it was no use. He was either there to make good on the words he spoke, or to check up on her; they couldn't kill her as of yet. Elijah lowered his hand from her mouth and she scowled at him. "How am I supposed to believe you?" She asked, breathing deeply, trying to her regain some energy.
"Christopher is waiting for you" Elijah revealed. He felt her muscles tense at the mention of his name.
"Where?" She asked, turning her head to search for him in the empty rooms
"He's back at where I'm about to take you" Elijah had to be vague in case someone was listening to their conversation "so are you going to willingly follow me or do I have to drag you kicking and screaming?"
She didn't reply at first, all she did was nod her head. "What do I have to lose?" She shrugged "my life?"
"I promise, if you come with me now, you will keep your life" Elijah said as he saw the dullness of her eyes. These people have near killed this poor girl.
She shook her head once more "how are you going to get me out? This place is crawling with vampires and they can sense me from a mile away"
Elijah walked over to the window and tried hitting it with his elbow. One, two, three. On the third hit, the window smashed, leaving a sharp and jagged edge at the bottom. "We have to rush, quick in case someone heard that"
"I'm not jumping out of the window" she stepped back "we're on the fourth floor and I cannot be healed nor saved with vampire blood"
Elijah took a double take as he held his hand out for her to approach him, he tried to be as careful as he could. After all he saw her as a scared deer. "You cannot be healed?" He asked, the information only served him to act as if she were a porcelain doll.
"It's some sort of after effect of the spell, my blood can harm therefore I cannot heal" she quickly explained like it was nothing. Willow edged forward to Elijah and took his hand, he pulled her in, close to him.
"We're going to have to jump, I'll make sure you're safe" he said "you get up first, I'll follow"
Willow climbed up and onto the window sill on the outside, her hand catching the shard of glass and drawing blood. "Agh" she immediately said afterwards, looking at the small cut that let out a lot of blood.
Elijah went to put his hand where she had hers, not caring about getting the blood on his hand.
"I wouldn't if I were you" Willow turned back, her moves limited as one of her top fears was height.
Elijah looked up, the wind blew through her hair and her hands were pressed against the wall.
"My blood is like poison, it'll burn your skin and make its way into your blood stream if you come into contact with it for a long amount of time. If you just touch it, it'll still burn you like vervain"
Elijah whipped his hand away quickly. He didn't realise quick contact like that would cause so much damage. It only made him fear what Tristan had up his sleeve.
Elijah avoided the blood and stepped outside. He edged towards Willow and took hold of her shaking body. Looking down, it looked so far, not to a vampire but to a human.
"On the count of three" he said to her "one, two..."
Willow held on tightly to him, her head pressed against his shoulder, she was looking away and her teeth clenched. She tried embracing the fear but she couldn't, all she did was ready herself for the impact and hope that she'd live to see the rest of the night.
"Three"
Elijah held on and jumped from the window sill he balanced. Jumping all four floors.
