"What an absolute mess" Rebekah watched as two men compelled to remove the body and clean it up covered the face of the corpse. They had a tough job ahead of them, and in reality it would cost a hell of a lot of money, but nothing a little vampire compulsion can't do. "It's one nightmare after the other for her"

She couldn't hell but feel a little guilty, after all; if she would have forced Bradley out by the scruff of his neck, then they wouldn't have to do any of this.

"What the bloody hell happened here?" Klaus stormed in, he wasn't quite sure what was going on, but the whiff of human blood and the two men carrying out a body bag did give something away. He wasn't too fussed about the stains on the walls and floor, he's had it before.

"We lost Bradley" Rebekah revealed, pointing to the body bag that just exited.

"Ah, the fiancé" Klaus recalled "and the reason for his death?"

"Willow" Elijah sighed, knowing that one word was enough to explain to Klaus. "I'm about to request Rebekah's help to help me sort out a funeral"

"Something tells me that you aren't doing this out of the kindness of your heart or because you liked the boy" Klaus smirked, looking around the room and then resting his glare on Elijah with that playful smile, the kind that makes you want to hit him "let's be honest, your solemn expression isn't out of respect for the dead, it's because of sympathy for the living, as in Willow. We all knew, lying beneath all of your moral nature, you wished for this to happen. You're somewhat glad to know that Willow is completely yours"

"I don't think Elijah wants to even begin to talk about that right now, Niklaus, show some respect" Rebekah jumped straight in to defend her brother's honour. But he was right, Elijah wasn't exactly mourning the death of him, in fact, he actually felt relieved. He knew it was only a matter of time until Bradley kicked the bucket, a non-supernatural mortal being would never survive.

"Well, I believe I can say whatever I want, since pigs can now fly and all" Klaus began "oh wait, something a lot more surprising has happened, Tristan has been allowed to work with us"

"You are completely unreal" Rebekah huffed "there are certain reasons why Tristan was allowed in that obviously made Elijah agree, so why don't you stop being so hands on, sit back and trust that your older brother knows better"

Klaus raised both hands in surrender, he would never trust that Elijah knew better, Tristan would never be a trustable or reliable character. It was never in his nature, to sit back and watch someone take lead, he had his own things to tend to.

He took a step back and silently walked away, thinking that his feelings were known. Rebekah would always side with Elijah and he didn't particularly want to stand there and get into yet another argument.

"Forget about him" Rebekah turned back around to Elijah "it's just Nik being Nik"

"He's not far wrong" Elijah admitted "partially about Tristan but mainly about Bradley. I'm relieved, most of all"

Rebekah pressed her lips together and sighed "I know, but you wouldn't go shouting it out for everyone to hear would you?"

"She told me the other night that she loved me, but she had to let me go, she had to choose herself" Elijah revealed to Rebekah something he hadn't spoken to anyone else about "she broke up with Bradley as well as you know, but she told me yesterday that she expected me to fight, I didn't"

"Before I could do anything about it, this happened. It makes me think, was this really meant to be?" He carried on, thinking out loud.

"Are you being serious, Elijah?" Rebekah let out a laugh "this is Willow, we're talking about, Willow; the love of your life, the girl that managed to make you weak every single day for five years even without being there. I'd be calmer if it were any other girl, I'd let you move on" she scolded "but right now, that girl is sat upstairs on her own, after pouring out her heart to you about how much she wants to be with you and after losing a loved one. She need you Elijah, and Frankly; I know you need her"

He did need her. And he was stupid to miss an opportunity just because of a few set backs. Maybe she'd reject him, maybe she'd tell him no and how inappropriate it was to do that right at this moment. But after his sister's speech, Elijah couldn't not go to her; it was time he poured his heart out to her and tell her how much he needs her and how much he wants her forever.

Elijah nodded his head "I know what I have to do" he told Rebekah "excuse me, sister"
