Elijah lead Willow through a series of back roads and dark tunnels. She didn't feel safe, but when did she actually? There was two ways it could end, this strange man who took her from her captors now would make good on his word and take her to the only person that would actually make her feel safe, or he could take her back to somewhere where she'd be exploited once more. And right now, walking silently through an alley, the lights from bourbon street glimmering to the left of them, she felt the latter option being quite possible.

Did she catch his name? Everything had gone so fast for her to even try and recall if they had exchanged names. Of course he knew hers, if Christopher had told him about her then he'd definitely mention her name.

"I'm Willow, by the way" Willow said quietly, scratching the small wound on her arm from the last time they extracted her blood.

"I know" Elijah smiled at her attempt to begin a small conversation, but they neared home and it wouldn't be long before they got cut off by Christopher. "I'm Elijah Mikaelson"

Had she heard that name before? Christopher always told her tales of his adventures before Willow, and she really hoped it was Elijah's name that he mentioned. If it was then she was safe.

"Familiar name" she added, and then it started to make her think a bit more deeply. Was she confusing Christopher with Tristan? She could have sworn a Mikaelson had been mentioned when she eavesdropped.

"My family have got around through the thousand years we've been alive" He knew that to a human, that news would come as a shock, he took enjoyment out of seeing her eyebrows furrow as she looked at him. "Im the one responsible for creating Christopher, my family are the first vampires to ever walk the earth"

"Impressive" Willow was now certain she had heard Elijah's name come from Christopher's mouth, her muscles relaxed a little bit as she felt a bit more comfortable "congratulations, on the Christopher aspect. He's one of the good guys"

Elijah smiled, nodding his head "he sure is"

"On the other hand, however Tristan is not" she rolled her eyes and though they have only just met, and though she wasn't sure where his loyalties truly were, Willow was able to crack a joke or be sarcastic towards him "Now you've told me that, I recall Tristan telling someone it was an Elijah Mikaelson who turned him"

"Yes, it seemed like I didn't evaluate my situation when I turned him, I've regretted the day ever since" Elijah admitted as they both walked up to the gates of the compound.

Willow looked up, examining the golden ends of the bars and how high the gates stood. She had never seen anything like it before. But her attention didn't stay on the gates or the architecture for much longer.

"Wills" there was only one person that called her that name. It made her look down to see the nearly groomed man walk down the stairs and into eyeshot.

"Christopher!" The mere sight of him was enough to make her cry. Willow burst into tears, seeing the relief on the man's face, it reminded her of just before she was taken.

Willow ran up to him and jumped into his arms, squeezing him tightly. "Oh my god, Christopher" she cried

"Sh" he comforted her "its over, it's all over"

But it was far from it.

"I want to go home" willow separated from him and wiped her cheeks dry from all of the tears that poured out.

He didn't want to say the words, he hated saying no to her. She couldn't go home, she had no home to go to. "Willow..."

Elijah saw the discomfort in Christopher's face as he stuttered and stumbled over his words. "Im afraid it's not an option right now" Elijah said it as softly as he could "you are a well known target now for the Strix, if I took you before they killed you, it means Tristan isn't finished with you as of yet"

Willow swallowed, deep deep down she knew the answer to her demands, she knew that she was unable to leave and that from now on her life would be changed. Her gaze lowered to the floor, a false smile tried to come across her lips but she turned it away. "I don't know what happens next" she shrugged.

"You can go home when Tristan has been killed, along with his vampires. Hopefully, if you help us, we could do that" everybody knew she had no choice in the matter.

Willow looked at Christopher. She didn't know if she wanted to agree, maybe she wanted to hide for the rest of her life and never give blood away again. But Christopher's reassuring nod told her what she had to do.

"You aren't going to lock me away and take my blood by force?" She asked, wanting to clarify the obvious.

"We would never do that" Elijah agreed "I'm sure Christopher would have something to say about that"

"I should have known this was far from over" she sighed "but I want it to be, as soon as possible. You guys are my best bet"
